I blow out any primer than I put a condom from a carto on the bottom of the Atty, I then take whatever flavored liquid I'm going to run in that Atty and I fill the Atty up to the top of the bridge and I than let that Atty sit like that for about an hour. This ensures that my wick gets completely soaked and my Atty's never get that burnt taste, many people just put a couple drops in and fire there Atty, this is risking the wick gets a slight burnt spot on it sometimes and I don't ever get that because its never the same once its burnt, thats my reason for the initial soak to prime it properly, this works every time.!

Blown out the primer and dripped a couple drops of juice in, insert cartridge and four of mine were good to go. I did have three that had a really hard draw and not working well at first try so before contacting the vendor I did a 15 soak on alcohol and let them dry over night and the next morning dripped the couple of drops of juice in, inserted the cartridge, and they were worked fine. Never needed to do anything else to optimize an atty. I've only started 7 new atty's in the past 6+ months and six of them are still working fine so I guess there's always a chance I'd need to do something else at some point in the future but I'm not thinking so.
