Hi, first post in this Reos Mods forum. I purchased a Rio Mini from another member and it is on its way to me. I am totally unfamiliar with liquid feeding mods. And basically no experience with attys either except for one joye I use when testing DIY flavors. Please help with a few questions.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of bridgeless vs bridged attys, assuming that it will only be used on the Rio Mini.

I want to sample a few of the better Reo Mini attys so I can form my own opinion right now I have 2 attys in my shopping cart at Avid Vapor:

LR510 Low Resistance Bridgeless 1.5ohm Atomizer (Cisco Spec)

AERO 510 Bridgeless Atomizer

I see the radically expensive HH.357 on Avid but I will save that one until I have more experience with moderate level ones. Are there any others I should try on my Reo, not just at Avid, but anywhere? Are any of the cheap ones worth trying or should I just pass them over? Smoktech has a cheap bridgeless atty but for I get the impression that it doesn't have a center post.

I think that is all the questions I want to ask at the moment although I know that answers will probably generate more questions. Really looking forward to getting that little green Reo Mini

I would suggest an LR 1.7 to 2.0 Ohm for the Mini Reo. It takes a single 14500 battery and is a "3.7 pv".
Get the AW IMR 14500 because they are so much better for LR attys. You will need a magnet space for this too.
3.7 pv's work "best" with LR because the true voltage will drop as the batt discharges, and SR (standard resistance) or HR (high resist.) will give you less vapor. ymmv.
1.5 Ohm LR is too hot for many of us... so i'd be careful there.

Congratulations FriedLiverAtack on the REO and welcome!!!!!

First this calls for a banana dance!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Second attys... I prefere the 1.5 ohm for most juices. If they are really sweet I'll go up to between 1.8-2.2. Which brand to use is a harder question. Most are decent and some are better than others. having said that, get a few and try them out when you can. You'll also have the choice between 510, 306 and some hybrid variations. As to bridge or no bridge it dosent matter. I ussually do debridge bridged attys sooner or latter though.

Good Luck and let us now what you like.

P.S. I use the AW 14500 and dont need a magnet spacer.

Thanks for the welcome :)

The seller is sending me some odd batteries, KVS IMR 14500 600mAh 3.7v, from Kalamazoo, they are blue.

As far as LR, with cartos, I really like them to hit hard, preferring 1.5 or 1.7 smoktechs over the 2.0 Boges, although I now have to reconsider that because today I received a Precise+ and it hits way harder than any 3.7v device I've tried before. I used to think that performance wasn't significantly different from one 3.7 mod and another, only that they differed in craftsmanship and style. With the P+ I am forced to abandon that preconception.

But anyway, my preference for a hard hit is what made me select the 1.5 attys. I like making assumptions, they are often wrong, but assumed that bridgeless attys should be easier to clean. I still haven't ordered any, still researching, I have a fast learning curve because I go on digging for information long after any sane person would have given up.

Any feedback on that Aero atty?

Glad you decided to make a thread. Welcome again and if you were thinking about getting an Aero. Probably go with the 510 since I have tried the 306 version. Which has no real air flow. Giving off a very tight draw. As I suggested in my post on your original thread. The Cisco LR 1.5 ohm 306's give off a good TH and warmth to your vape. So, that's one that you should definitely give a try.

Thanks for the welcome :)

If you're needing a magnet spacer in your Mini, you might have a collapsed spring. :(

Nice to see ya posting here in Reoville, btw. :)

Hey mud,
Well maybe i don't need a spacer... i just picked up a recently made mini from the classies; haven't even gotten it yet; just the shipping notice ...
I went to a youtube that Smokie did on the mini, and he was using one. The first run Reo mini's might have needed one. I don't remember.
Smokie did say the door had a notch that kept the door from sliding off, and I seem to remember the first runs didn't have that.
I got a nice all black (stealth) Reo Mini hardly used.

hehehe...Ukeman is an old REO vet. :) He's been around for a while...just has been focusing on other things.

Nice to see you again, Ukeman
Hey Rhaps! I'm back!
I had gotten away from bottom feeders back when the Provari first came out. Learned a lot about vaping with the help of a built in meter in my face all day every day... :) So much that when i picked up a VMod XL over New Years, a 3.7 b/f, I had no trouble matching LR's with it. It's got a plastic inner housing, and it cracked... so it's a natural... Reo here I come ... again.

thanks for the warm welcome all, i always admired the energy of reonauts and of course the man (rob) himself.

friedliver et al, i am certainly going to give a shot at the Iken i06 (LR range) on the mini... that is one atty that is making a lot of waves with me and many vapers. and of course you really can't go wrong with the attys that rob sells for a great price (as a convenience to us).

looking forward to his vv soon too,,, one thing about rob, he doesn't put anything out before it's ready.
