Atty connector? Battery connector? Which is which?

Whoa, am I glad I'm not the only one confused by this particular terminology!
I also call it the atty connector, whereas madvapes (correctly, I guess) calls it a battery connector
(I had to go and actually check my receipt for that, LOL)!
Ask me again tomorrow and watch my brow wrinkle yet again!

PS: I have the same problem when "sexing" coaxial power connectors... But... both parts have a thing that goes into a hole...so...technically, are they both male AND female? Ohdammittall.

Ya know, that's a damn good question and something I've never put much thought into...but ya, things that make you hmmm, lol...calling it either a batt con or atty con has it's merits, but seeing as we rarely play around with the threaded connector bit on the bottom of an atty/cart/flux/tank, etc...I think everyone knows what everyone means when you say either, if that even makes sense???
