Is it safe? ill try it on "quick rince setting", should be ok with hot water for 15/20 minutes? (no dishwasher tablet)

I cant be fiddling around with cups of hot water and kettles, rinsing out etc.

Any one have experiance of using a dishwasher to clean atties? i did a search here but no results. (sure there are some, any links apppreciated)

Any advice on what to do after i take it out, i justs read the "Atty cleaning for dummies" thread, very good, seems like a dishwasher would do most of the work, i would do the dry burn part.

Thank you for your coments in advance! :)

i dont got the time :) fiddling around with that messy luiquid stuff.

the Isopropyl Alcohol, or your E-juice?

using Isopropyl Alcohol does not take that long. here is my end of the day routine. drop the Atty i have been using that day into some Isopropyl Alcohol and let it soak while i brush my teeth. then back to my atty, give it a couple swirls. pull it out and roll it on a paper towel to dry the out side. then tap both sides on the paper tower to get most of the Isopropyl Alcohol out form the inside. then i take the atty an place it connection side up on my air purifier. then go to bed. the atty is ready for tomorrow, although i keep 3 attys in rotation. so when i get up in the morning i grab the atty that has been drying for 2 days.most of the work is done while i brush my teeth. the whole process takes maybe a minute of my free time. an extra minute of my time give me a fresh atty every day and extended atty life (which saves me $$$). thats a sacrifice i am willing to make.

About the best results you'll get is they will be wet. It's a stretch for a dishwasher to get enough water up into the atomizer to actually clean anything. A quick soak in alcohol will be much more effective. Another good way to get them cleaned out is an ultrasonic cleaner.

In truth, I'm not hugely into cleaning atomizers. And, even with my low maintenance they seem to do alright.

However ...

Inquiring minds want to know ... is the ultrasonic cleaner effective? What do you use for a solution. I'm thinking alcohol in the ultrasonic might be good.

I have to agree with NCC, I'm not big into cleaning atomizers either. They have a short lifespan anyway, so when an atomizer doesn't produce to my liking, I just rinse it out, then drop it in a small jar filled with vodka for an hour or so, then rinse out the vodka and let it dry. If it still doesn't perform to my liking, I throw it out.

I have had great success with this method and many of my atomizers have lasted three months. Well over the one month expected lifespan.

I don't agree with using isopropyl alcohol to clean them. It's not meant for use in an item that you will be inhaling vapor from.

Alcohol evaporates leaving no residue. Nobody in their right mind soaks anything in it and doesn't make sure it's completely evaporated before putting it into use. A minute or two in the ultrasonic (alcohol in a sealed jar) gets rid of all the gunk that accumulates over time. I've yet to hear of anything that can compete with ultrasonic cavitation for cleaning. Everyone has their own method; this just happens to be mine and it works very well for me.

If the dishwasher has an inner cup that has a cap, you could be adding some rinsing agent chemicals to the mix. I would advise not to place your equipment in the dishwasher, unless you know for a fact that a rinse agent has not been added in your dishwasher.
A couple tablespoons of Pure Grain Alcohol or vodka or high grade iso alcohol will do the trick-it really isn't time consuming at all. When/if I do clean it is with PGA. Very seldom do I even bother.

Nad33m listen im gonna tell ya something and i wish somebody told me this when i first started 1 1/2 yrs ago. with attys just rinse it under hot water and blow out. do this a few times and thats it. then vape away. Unless you want to be like the many people that clean atties and make a whole day of it and then you wont be able to enjoy vaping. Just dont make a big deal about doing things with these attys and cartos or what have you and you will see they will last same amount of time. this is what i have been doing for past 6 months and its great. dont fuss and just vape. otherwise you will find yourself spending so much time cleaning and fixing and changing that you will say man this is a pain. Keep it simple. and many will tell you this. i mean come on man would you really want to put that tip oin your mouth that had cleaning crap and alcohol on it.
same with cartos just rinse out with water a few times and blow out. do this about 4 times then let it dry out then add new fluid. of course if the filler is burnt then just trash it. again KIS keep it simple

I use ultrasonic cleaning, water and dry burn. It might sound more complicated than a water rinse, so take a look at the "time" it takes *me*:

Fill ultrasonic cleaner with water, drop atomizer(s) in cleaner, turn it on. Elapsed time: 5 seconds

Come back whenever I remember to. Pull atomizer(s), blow out water, dump water out of ultrasonic cleaner. Elapsed time: 10 seconds per atomizer.

Let the atomizers dry, at least overnight. Dry burn each. Elapsed time, 30 seconds per atomizer.

If vaping commercial liquid, repeat (to remove burnt flavor). If using my DIY liquids, prime and vape. Prime and vape elapsed time, 10 seconds.

Less than one minute time per atomizer, and they vape like new when done. Works for me, and is simple, quick and effective. Not a chore.
