Atty Vs Clearo -(noobish ?)

Ive been using the same three attys(magma) for a couple of weeks now (yes i clean them weekly and blow out at the end of every day)
Ive never had a problem with them so far..that is until i tried some clearomizers i had sitting around..
and WOW:vapor: TONS of vapor with TONS of flavor and its warm  . Brings a whole new vaping experience to my world.
I took out the wick/bridge from the atty and its still the same, decent vapor with ok flavor, 3 hits and its bland) also the vapor was never warm at all.
Note I'm using 3.7v and am using BB, and mountain berry from AVE (DELICIOUS)

So i guess I'm trying to ask, what is a decent atty that can provide great results? cause the ones i bought don't seem to be doing the trick.
And what is a really good clearomizer to buy?

also, which one do you prefer?

Thank you for reading! Any advice/help is appreciated!

I've been hearing some pretty good stuff about COV Duel Coil Atomizers

Clearomizers.....well I don't have anything good to say about them so I won't. Ok, I will. They crack, leak and mute flavor. There may be some harder plastic ones out there that I haven't tried yet but I'm done with clearomizers.

Welcome to ECF.
Thats why i had them laying around collecting dust haha. But they are so much better then my attys its unbelievable.

The dual coil atomizer looks promising, ill probably save up and try some of the dual coil cartos while I'm at it along with the atomizer. I just cant believe what i was missing with most of my jucie, i thought my taste buds were going haywire

I've become a fan of the dual coil, my CE2s are collecting dust, well those that haven't cracked. I like LR 306, and LR 510 to get the flavor/ warmth. My dual coil is also LR @ 1.5 ohm. I got my attys from east mall, hoosier ecig, COV and nhaler. Got vapes has the unbreakable Fluomizer, but I haven't tried them.

Ive been looking at the fluomizer for some time. Anyone try them or know how long things like that normally last?

I prefer clearomizers. Yeah they do have their down sides. And as far as muted taste, that must YMMV; because these things enhance the flavor to me. Cracked tubes, easy to replace. I syringe mod all mine from the start, save you from disappoint later on. Leaks; once you figure out the best placement on the plugs leaks are minamal. I carry 3 or these in my pocket on a daily basis and have yet to have these leak to the point where I had a pocket full of juice. If you use a drip tip on them with a wide opening any juice that might start to pool around the coil will not get sucked into your mouth because it is not being forced through a small opening. For me though, the best part is you don't have to drip every couple toots. I enjoy these things so much that I destroyed a brand new ego mega DCC to turn it in to one of these.

I don't know of any atty that's going to get you the flavor, vapor and warmth of a CE2. At your voltage you might want to try a LR 306, great dripping atty but keep it wet.

For Clearos get the Deluxe. That's the newest revision with a thicker tube that won't crack, they made a few other improvements but the tube is the main thing. Right now Gotvapes is the only vendor I know of that has them but I'm sure there will be many to follow.

Hi all, new to the forums, but been a e-cig vaper for nearly a year now.

I use to use only LR 510 attys, (my main is a T-Rex pass-Through), but about a month ago, I switch to the CE2 clear, or smoked carto. I didn't read up on the cracking issue until afterwards, but that problem is resolved easily. I also see where a new model is available, and once my current stock, (6 boxes) runs out, I'd upgrade to the newer version.

Hands down, ..the flavor of the vape, the amount of vape and the enjoyment increases with goin to a carto. I like that they hold over 1ml of fluid, have no foam and seemingly last a while. My current 3 are over 2 weeks old and still run strong.
Gotvapes and totallywicked have them.

I use 3 at a time, (separeted by flavor). One for a "red hot", one for bubblegum and one for my new fav, "Blueberry-lemonade cottoncandy".

Thanks everyone for such fast responses :)
Ill definitely have to do some looking around, even with the leak/weak plastic the clearos seem to be to my liking. Might take a little bit but eventually ill try out lots of things and see how it goes

Gotvapes fluxomizers are great IMO. Forget about cracking these new tubes will not crack. I do recommend the XL size. The first one I had lasted 3 weeks before the wick wore out, but I clean them a lot. The current one I am on is at 3 weeks and the wicks look in good shape. The only rub at all would be that if you vape heavy like I do then adjusting them to wick fast enough is necessary. This takes about 30 seconds though and is no big deal. Just discard the inner plug, fluff the wick and use the thin middle plug (groove side down) against the ceramic cup. No leaks, great vapor, and great flavor. I even gave away most of my cartos and only keep 5 for emergency.

I tried using attys but it always Killed In Action. But when I used clearos (CE2) The only problem I have with them is the crackable tube they have. Easily replaceable with a syringe mod (3ml). Taste better and it is very cheap to fix. The TH & taste is a bit dull (Taste is still there) but the warmness of the vapor is good.

My fav is steel CE2 XL 1.8ml; mine has lasted several weeks so far.

I've never had a CE2 wick wear out; how does this happen? from cleaning?

I like that the wick/coil can be dry burned cleaned.

DC handles dirty burning liquid better but it is a juice and batt hog.
Surprisingly DC produces less clouds than CE2.

I use DC at 11 watts for dirty burning flavors and for short high power sessions.

I use CE2 at 5 watts for all day vaping w/ clean burning flavors.

I have not tried the steel ones, but they had a great clearance sale at GotVapes. As for the wicks I take the tube off and rinse and dry them by dabbing gently and dry burn the coil. The first one, the wicks both wore out and broke at the ceramic cup probably due to cleaning and drying a little too vigorously. When you clean yours how do you dry it since the steel ones don't come apart?

The wicks are pretty durable but they will wear out over time just like anything else. I dry burn mine pretty consistently and they hold up well but will degrade over enough cleanings and dry burns that the wick basically just falls off. The weakest spot seems to be right where the wicks enter the cup. This happened on my last ones at about the 4 month mark but ymmv.

Use syringe to flush w/ PGA.
Remove excess PGA w/ syringe.
Remove ceramic cup seal if you don't wanna vape dry PGA.
Dry wick; can vape dry, oven dry, etc.
Dry burn at 5 watts as long as required to clean wick slag; I've dry burned about 30 secs.
Can needle pick wick if needed.
Sometimes I install cup seal upside down.

The only CE2's I've lost to date are clears that broke while attached to PV in pocket.
Can be repaired if have lead free solder.
I've replaced cracked clear tubes then they last many weeks to months.
My main all day steel CE2 has been in service for almost 2 months and is working great.
