I order my first rda that cost >$100. I'm not sure what to expect when I open the box and it's just a hunk of metal like my $5-$10 atties. The nicest atty I've gotten so far has been the Cyclone w/ AFC and I picked that up used.

I got the bottom feed version and had him open the air up to 2mm:

Any other attysmith users? What should I expect?

You payed for a quality product, hopefully. You should have received exactly what you wanted and specified for that price. Most importantly, if something is not right or becomes inoperable during the guaranteed date (not your fault), you should have no problems in having it fix/replaced.
If you expected other, or additional goodies as advertised for the attysmith on the vendor site, I would give them a call.
Hope this post helps, not an attysmith user.

I'm Sorry, but are you saying you have it in hand and aren't impressed? Or just ordered it are excited and want to know what others think of these? Everything I've heard about them is positive, assuming you like that type of airflow. I. E. It's restricted but the flavor is excellent with a good build.

It has not arrived yet and just wondering what others think. I had the air opened up a bit before it was sent out; so, the draw shouldn't be too too tight.
