HE left the cap open for over two minutes. Also, it does have juice flow control. He didn't have a clue what he was doing.
That whole group of newer reviewers (M.vapes, fagan, V. chronicles, heathen and friends) are SOoooo anxious to get reviews out before anyone else that they do a pis poor job at it. I'm not interested in watching you fumble about whilst trying to figure a devices characteristics on the fly. Oh and add Twisted's name to the list as I see he's doing it now too.
It really does a disservice to whatever device is being promoted due to silly errors and oversights that a little time in Hand would have avoided. Just my 2cents.

I thought Brian on TVC did a decent job and Mike vapes was using it in their recent vape team video.

Thing is that after the Four Foggers B.S. that Todd posted the email about. I'm unsure that those guys can be trusted. It's obvious if you read the email and its requirements that it was a paid review. Yet they all claim it was happenstance that 8 or 9 best buds all reviewed the same upstart juice line and hit their marks perfectly - pertaining to the list of requirements the email stipulated in order to receive payment via paypal.
I've got a few guys I genuinely trust including Pbusardo, Todd, Igetcha69, Smm, and Grimm but imo the new class/clique of reviewers are bumbling and stumbling in ineptitude at best and woefully dishonest at worst. YMMV.

hi all !
boreas for low power and single coil ideas.
here is what I am trying ..making a plug from food grade high temp silicone to one reduce the chamber two to plug the opposite airflow hole without modifying the tank. also two juice holes are closed.
used a smaller bore driptip to.
the end result is a nice single coil tank with huge juice capacity and exceptional nice flavor !1.2 ohm twisted a1 2.5 mm .vaping now with 14.5 watts . one air hole open .
no leaks ..powder dry ..very happy with it.
after the plug hardened used a razor blade and cut a slant .

FYI, you dont need the plug.. This is 3.5mm 22G Nichrome 8 wraps at .4 ohms. Wicked with Rayon. running great at 65 watts. Cloud is decent, not quite as big as with my Dual coil builds. Cant judge the flavor as I have the tank filled with flavorless right now... But this thing is still rocking.

like you said don't need the plug ! at 65 watts !
just trying to make it vape like a dedicated single coil like a batchelor ..comparing side by side . and still have all the good features of the boreas . at 14 watts !
I am getting the same clouds and flavor same hit and closing my eyes I would not know which is which.
also using rayon but will try some nicrome wire when I get it.

I just bought one of these. Built two coils and thought, "wow neat how it goes through these allen head screws." Pulled some cotton through each and cut where enough was there to tuck under to where cotton was completely filling from hole in deck to the coil.

Biggest problem: The entire tank leaked out the air holes. Why? Everything is snug, I checked all the o rings.

Other problem: I asked on this forum is you could get mouth to lung on this instead of lung hits and I cannot. I close the air holes until there is about 1/5th of it showing and I just barely get mouth to lung hits. With it closed that much, touching it slightly shuts it off completely. This thing is not made for mouth to lung hits imo.

I also barely get any vapor. My ohms are reading at 0.7. I guess it goes down if there are two coils instead of one. I am used to 1.8 -2.4 on my Kayfun. I cranked my mod all the way up to 5 volts, as high as it will go, and I get barely a puff of vapor.

Help me out. What can I do before sending this thing back?

You need to close the afc/jfc while filling. I ran into the same issue the first fill up. Also, some recommend flipping it upside down once full and opening the air/juice lock to release built up pressure. I didn't need to do this though.

Also, I close the afc/jfc whenever not in use just to be safe. As to the other ?, I cannot answer since I cannot seem to make myself M2L anylonger:confused:

Just got mine, meh, pulled the deck out & the o-ring was broke, checked the spare deck & that's broke too. Not impressed. Hopefully I have a spare & once I build it I'll feel the love everyone is giving it. Completely unimpressed with broken o-rings on a new tank out of the package.

I had the broken O-rings as well. There is a replacement or two in the bag of spares. I like the Boreas, I want to LOVE it, but it really isn't as good as my Aromamizer. in fact, I feel it is just an over engineered Aromamizer. It is not a bad tank in any way shape or form, just personally don't see it as a "game changer" as others seem to.

Yes, if you are used to running Single Coils, Dual coils will cut your resistance by half (Of a single coil - assuming, of course, that both coils are built equally.) .7 ohm at 5 volts = ~35 Watts - you should be seeing some vapor production (or tasting some toasted cotton notes)!! try opening the airflow a little more.

well if you have closed your AFC to only 1/5th a hole open your also closing your JFC down... Probably wanno open that up some. I would try it with just two holes open a little... this way your JFC is still opened, but you can crank down the Airflow.

as to your leaking during filling... close the AFC all the way. fill it up. put the top cap on until it just touches the Oring and then invert it and finish screwing it on. Open the AFC whille still inverted. this allows the pressure created in teh tank that built up when the top cap was screwed on to dissipate via AIR being pushed out rather than juice. turn right side up and vape that sucker.
