Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

You need to close the afc/jfc while filling. I ran into the same issue the first fill up. Also, some recommend flipping it upside down once full and opening the air/juice lock to release built up pressure. I didn't need to do this though.

Also, I close the afc/jfc whenever not in use just to be safe. As to the other ?, I cannot answer since I cannot seem to make myself M2L anylonger:confused:

I closed the ring around the 4 holes while filling. I also tilted it for the last few turns of the top. Even if it was the standard "you built pressure and forced juice down to flood a little" problem, it wouldn't leak the entire tank. It would have stopped after a little bit, no? I mean, an entire 5 ml leaked onto my desk over the course of an hour.

I do not see a separate juice flow control, just air flow. Is there a separate control? Where does it live?

Yes, if you are used to running Single Coils, Dual coils will cut your resistance by half (Of a single coil - assuming, of course, that both coils are built equally.) .7 ohm at 5 volts = ~35 Watts - you should be seeing some vapor production (or tasting some toasted cotton notes)!! try opening the airflow a little more.

Hmm, should I therefore double the gauge of my wire and go for the same number of wraps?

I do get some vapor, its just really weaksauce compared to my Kayfun at 1.4 ohms. If I open the airflow more than 1 hole, I feel like I am taking .... hits. I want to vape, not get high!

Maybe getting a smaller bore tip will help?
That is, if I can get it to stop leaking.

As far as your leaking goes, it most likely is your wicking technique for this RTA. You might be using smaller diameter coils, resulting in less cotton usage. Without seeing your build, that's the least I can figure.

I'm using 3mm diameter coils, mainly so I can get enough cotton thru them to prevent leaking.

Another possibility could be your e-liquid. What ratio is it? I'm using 100VG in mine at the moment. I could see leaking if you didn't wick it with enough cotton and are using a 50/50 ratio, for example, as that liquid would be much thinner.

The juiceflow control (JFC) is also the Airflow control (AFC). It's a JFC/AFC hybrid, so to speak. All one piece.

I can mouth-to-lung this tank. It's not a super restrictive mouth-to-lung hit like my OG AeroTank was, but it's an unrestricted mouth-to-lung hit. "Mouth-to-lung" is a vague definition (as is "lung-hit"...there's restrictive lung-hits and unrestrictive lung-hits.) Ultimately it depends on how you prefer to vape. It's subjective and it's best defined by the user's need.

Without seeing your build deck and knowing your VG/PG ratio, we can't really offer too much advice for the leaking. I hope this helps a little, tho.

I just bought one of these. Built two coils and thought, "wow neat how it goes through these allen head screws." Pulled some cotton through each and cut where enough was there to tuck under to where cotton was completely filling from hole in deck to the coil.

Biggest problem: The entire tank leaked out the air holes. Why? Everything is snug, I checked all the o rings.

Other problem: I asked on this forum is you could get mouth to lung on this instead of lung hits and I cannot. I close the air holes until there is about 1/5th of it showing and I just barely get mouth to lung hits. With it closed that much, touching it slightly shuts it off completely. This thing is not made for mouth to lung hits imo.

I also barely get any vapor. My ohms are reading at 0.7. I guess it goes down if there are two coils instead of one. I am used to 1.8 -2.4 on my Kayfun. I cranked my mod all the way up to 5 volts, as high as it will go, and I get barely a puff of vapor.

Help me out. What can I do before sending this thing back?

I can't imagine anyone trying to MTL on the Boreas. You'd have to shut down the airflow altogether and that wouldn't work for long. If you're not able to lung inhale I would recommend sending it back.

When you do dual coils the resistance is half of what the individual coil's resistance is, so if you want a 1.5 total resistance you'd have to make 2 3ohm coils.

I like the Boreas, I want to LOVE it, but it really isn't as good as my Aromamizer. in fact, I feel it is just an over engineered Aromamizer. It is not a bad tank in any way shape or form, just personally don't see it as a "game changer" as others seem to.

I agree. I love that it's top fill, has a metal afc, larger deck and holds more liquid. It's like an upgraded Aromamizer. Apparently you can get all those things now with the Aromamizer Supreme. IMO the original Aromamizer was the real game changer.

I'm using 3mm diameter coils, mainly so I can get enough cotton thru them to prevent leaking.

I did 7 wraps around a 5/64 drill bit. According to my calculations, that is 1.984375 mm.
I can try bigger drill bits, and in fact have to, in order to up the resistance. I'll try that tonight. What gauge wire do you use?

Another possibility could be your e-liquid. What ratio is it? I'm using 100VG in mine at the moment. I could see leaking if you didn't wick it with enough cotton and are using a 50/50 ratio, for example, as that liquid would be much thinner.

I use 50/50.
Should you stuff this thing pretty tight with cotton or just let it dangle over the holes?

I hear ya. Hard to describe granular increments. Thanks for the helps.

Brekehan, I would guess that you need a minimum of 2.5mm ID coil. I use 3mm ID coils. With the 5/64 (2mm) you can hardly get enough cotton through it to fill the juice well/deck to hold the juice in the cotton...therefore it will leak. You should try larger coils and more cotton in order to not have excess juice in the well. That is just my experience and only my opinion. But I bet it will make a major difference especially with a 50/50 juice. Hope you can get this working to your style of vape. Not sure you will ever get it down to the restricted airflow you are used to. I like to switch between restricted airflow and open airflow throughout the day and depending on where I am. If I vape my Boreas in my car with the windows up...I can hardly see the dashboard! But if I want to get a really dense, flavorful lung full...I use the Boreas. If I'm sitting vext to the wifey and watching some tube, I use something else like a Kfun or Rose V2.

I agree with this. In the short time I've had the Boreas, I did realize one thing. You have to think big when building this thing. This is the largest tank I've ever owned and the small coils (2.5mm and under) with wicks cut to 3 or 4 mm strips (KGD) won't cut it. You need to really stuff this tank with both coils and wick!

One more thing to Brekehan - make sure there is not a broken o-ring on the bottom of the removable deck. If there is no seal there it will leak. I believe they are 12x1 size (it is specified earlier in this thread) Although I put a 14x1 on and it works fine.

I've been using a drilled out Aqua V2 (I think thats where i mostly rememberRoxy from, that or the rayon thread) between 25-35w for the last year, never dripped; so this is definitely a whole 'nother ball game. Just wow.

My build is kinda crazy. Tightly twisted 29g, 4mm id, 9 wraps spaced, ohming at .9. Vaping great at anything from 65-91w, which is where you reach the 9v limit on the Reuleaux. What are the downsides to a build like this? I never see anyone doing higher wattage, high ohm builds.

I guess the most obvious one is, you can't go over 91 watts, lol.

Just wanted to add, I went to throw a heavier build on the "big" deck, and my orings was severed, too. Popped one of the extras on (from the top), and was G2G.

Also, my top cap unscrews like a dream, no knurling needed. I'm really glad it doesn't have knurling, as I find it to be quite ugly.

OHH DRAT! It will not fit in the Movkin Disguiser! That was what I was getting it for.

Point being don't call it 25 if'n it ain't.

Funny thing... my 22 mm Crown and 22 mm Goliath V1 won't fit in my eNVy 22, either.
