And heck I think my OTM one was worth the $35 I gave FT for it. Its one of my nicest tanks.

I'm trying to justify buying this one for $25, lol! I don't need it, but, dang it is a great tank and price.

Buy this and retire a less good tank? Do you still use any of the non-OTM v2 clones?

I never managed to get hold of an OTM, so this is going to be nice for me, my first authentic Aqua v2. Some of the clones I have are pretty good, but all have little niggles here and there, like the screws.

This price is just absurdly good, I'm seriously considering buying a second. I'd already have two ordered if the site didn't have a broken international postage system. I'll probably resist a second because, like you, I don't really need it. But even at $45 with international shipping it's an amazing price..

Yep done the o-ring fix. It actually made them leak more LOL.

Oh weird, sorry I don't know! I have had at least two v2 clones on the go at any one time, all the time, for the last month at least, and never had any leaking at all.

What % juices do you use? Mine are never less than 50% VG, and recently lots of 60, 70 and 80. If you use <50% that would be more likely to leak I guess.

If you're using 50+% too then I really don't know, sorry. Anyway you're getting an authentic now so all will be well

Have you looked at/tried the Aqua SE? Highly recommended, top fill is awesome - I thought I'd dislike the reduced, 2.5ml capacity, but I find that with top fill I don't care. I'd rather top fill 2.5ml capacity into an SE than bottom fill 4ml into the v2, especially now I'm getting more juice with dripper tops that don't play nicely with the v2's little holes.

I use full VG, and thanks for the help, but I've posted on forums, researched the web, youtube, you name it. Tried every fix and the sucker still leak. Some people on FT have never had a problem, some people had a problem but the o-ring fix worked, and some people have leaks no matter what they do. I guess I fell into the last category, so the chance at getting an authentic V2 for less than a FT clone was just too good to pass up!

I've always used 50/50 in my OTM. Its only ever had Wakonda in it. I used that as my first juice in it, and it was such an outstanding vape, I've just made it a permanent home for that juice, lol!

I hear you. I've been on the worst tank buying kick lately. I already had loads of clones, a few cheap Chinese authentics, and the one higher-end authentic SE. But I finally got so sick of funky screws, twisting posts, leaking, variable flavour and the other annoyances of cheap tanks. So I wanted some authentics, and in particular authentics I couldn't just get as clones. So I went on a hunt for unusual tanks - the Phenomenon Lite, the Tilemahos v2, the Merkava, the Titanium Ataman 2, and then some German beasts - the Vapor Giant Mini v2.5 and the Vape4Me Horizon. And another SE of course. And then also some new clones, because, y'know. Like two Kayfun v4s and eventually two Ubertoot v2s.

Then with new tanks coming in I had to get some quality new juice to do them justice. And then I didn't like the idea of tanks just sitting there so I needed more mods to host them all on.

It never ends! Though now I've run out of old non-vaping crap to sell on eBay so I suppose it'll have to end soon.

In all those though I can still say I keep using my Aquas, even though they're now the only dual-deck tanks I use and I generally now prefer spacious single decks. I just know the flavour will rock every time, they'll never leak, they look OK (SE better than the v2, at least my clones.) The chimney annoys me sometimes still, but I've now got the build down that will fit every time.

I just now wish that I hadn't already bought yet another v2 clone the other day That certainly won't be used now with the authentic. I'll stick it in PIF.

TC: works perfectly, I use mine exclusively for TC with Titanium and NiFe wires. It has an all-brass positive path, very low resistance, great design.

Single coil: Not bad. Not as spacious as a single-coil deck of course. But better than many. The air holes are threaded, and you can use a spare deck screw to close off the second, unneeded air hole. That's fairly unusual and very useful, but is not a complete solution - it leaves the juice channels open. So what I do is also close off the juice channels with two small pieces of cotton (Rayon). It only takes a couple of minutes

Here's a photo I took for someone else a few days ago - apologies for blur/poor quality, but you can get the idea: single coil on one side then on other side airhole is blocked with screw, and juice channels closed with small pieces of wick. (This is the Aqua SE deck but v2 is same principle):

With that new discount code it was even harder to resist, despite the shipping costing more than the thing. You people getting it for $21 delivered.. it's just wrong

I didn't keep my discount, I spent it on a 30ml bottle of Frankenvape. I think I've heard people talking about that before, so I took a shot. I actually wanted to get a couple of bottles of cheap juice and a nice looking drip tip, but kept butting up against the shipping limitation. I can get an Aqua v2 and a 30ml bottle of juice and still have it be the $25 "international shipping". Add even a drip tip to that, and it goes up to $65 "large international". I'm sure if I emailed them they could sort something out, but I've spent too much already recently so it's probably a good thing.

Anyway, I am taking sentimental final vapes on my Aqua v2 clones. Farewell, little buddies! You have been my faithful companions and looked after me well, but now it's time for you to go on to a better life at the Happy Atomizer Farm*, where you get cleaned and polished and vaped on all day!
