Hi,

Damn clones(sorry for the bad word) never make hologram warranty card.

Actually, the verification in our webpage is fake and only I could figure it out that it is Authentic.

Besides, your Aqua is authentic. Don't worry.

Regards,

Pete

He claimed the v2 wasn't made in China? Oh dear.

Yep. Completely denied it.

I went on a quest last night to find any difference between my two, and couldn't. I'm nearly certain now that the OTM was made by the same factory as the authentics.

There is the possibility of course that the Korean machine shop farmed them out to China without Footoon's knowledge. If so, that sucks for him.

Yeah, maybe if it hadn't been on fasttech I might have questioned whether it was really OTM, but they're usually very careful about that.

What I don't get is why he didn't have a contract stating they couldn't re-make it. Or maybe that's proof of what you said, the Korean factory lying to him: he had an agreement with them, but then they outsourced it and the Chinese factory was under no such obligation.

I wish all high end atomizer/mod makers would outsource to China and drop their prices accordingly. Nothing wrong with Chinese manufacture, they build to a budget like anyone else. You never see the people proudly waving their Made In USA products complain about the iPhone they have in their pocket :)

048 shark on mine, forgot how much I liked these, I put in a .12 single nickle coil in it and it is very nice indeed. and I am pretty sure its authentic as it is much nicer than the clone I have, the quiality feels better, I had to replace the big thin Oring as the one on it was messed up a bit and I did not feel like leaking a tank of juice for a oring that was in the spares bag. Local vape had mine to me in 2 and 1/5 days cross country. fastest I ever recieved anything from California.

Mine was dried out and broke, too. Does anyone know what size the o ring is? Its awfully thin.

I think 19.5mm ID x 0.5mm

I am certain on the latter. On the former, I find it hard to measure with the callipers because it can so easily stretch. Measuring the outer diameter of the part of the tank it sits on I get about 19.25mm, but the inside of the ring itself appears to be 19.5mm - that's putting it flat on the desk and carefully extending out the callipers until it touches the inside of the ring but does not move it.

Tracking those down will suck.

These people have 19.5 x 0.5 Individual O Ring Rubber Case Back Gasket 0 5mm Thick 8 0mm 34 0mm | eBay

Edit: wait, they charge $6 for one o-ring? Geez! Or is that including the metal ring as well? I don't quite follow. Anyway, there's others if they're no good.

Looked to be a few more in the search as well - many in China/Hong Kong naturally, but a few more US-based.

Saw that! And I could use some spare parts for my Poldiacs so I'll order them together.

Bloke, I had to use my spare immediately, which leaves me one in my OTM spares pack. And that's not a size I have in my gigantic o ring stash, although one might be able to stretch a 10 x 1 or something.

@TheBloke , did you pay import tax when ordering from local vape to the UK?

Nope - they are crafty and forged the customs declaration. Here's my second of the two orders, where I ordered a bottle of juice as well; I received "flashlight parts" and "aromatherapy oil", total value $6:

Ironically, the amount I really paid - $25 / £16 - is I think below the duty amount anyway. Although maybe it's always subject to VAT, not sure.

Anyway, Local Vape - like the Chinese vendors - clearly have practice ensuring their packages get to international customers without let or hindrance :)

Oh, and then as a belt and braces approach, they also labelled it "Commercial Sample"! Implying I hadn't even paid for it. And the invoice that proved I had paid was in a blank, sealed envelope inside the box.
