Sha Zam! I lowered the coil a bit, redid the wick, cutting it off like @JCinFLA said, and now it's more like I was expecting. I think the big problem was I didn't have enough rayon stuffed in the coil, and had it shoved down too far in the juice well.

has anyone had or heard of any issues with the top cap not working/sealing correctly?
i`ve had mine around a month or so now, i did`nt get around to using it straight away but when i did i stripped it down to clean and noticed the tiny o-ring above the chimney area was quite squashed/misshaped/chewed, i did`nt think that much of it at the time apart from probably bad assembly and should be fine with one of the spare o-rings fitted....
but after reassembling and setting up (o-ring lubed) i was having problems getting the top cap on properly, it feels like the o-ring is getting in the way and making the lid either fractionally tilt to one side or even if i get it looking straight its quite hard to fully tighten down, i`ve tried backwinding and catching the thread in different places to make sure its not cross threading etc but no matter what i do i can feel the softness of the o-ring compressing and tilting the lid and/or making it hard to tighten down, if i really crank it, it looks like it fully closed but it leaks when turned upside down.
i`ve also been getting some gurgling, i`ve had the full size version for some time and know how to wick it, always bottom filled it (as i`ve been doing with the mini) and get no problems,
i assume the gurgling is probably with it not being properly sealed??
i`m not sure what is causing the top cap/lid problem exactly, whether its the o-ring itself (tried all the spares) or the groove the o-ring sits in is possibly not grooved enough so the o-ring is expanded too much when fitted, or maybe something to do with the threading on the top cap as the threading can/does tend to bite into the o-ring, and/or its something else.....and of course still possibly user error, even though i`ve tried, tried....tried again and keep trying lol with the same result.
if i remove the tiny o-ring the lid tightens down no problem and actually leaks less, sometimes not at all.
just obviously strange it arrived with the fitted o-ring already looking none too clever and i`ve got problems with the spares and the top cap.

i`m in the process of being in contact with Vandy vape but up to now they`ve only mentioned sending more o-rings.

There is definitely an issue with the fit of the top cap on my mini as well. It's a real struggle to get it on. I bottom fill, though, so it's not really that much of an issue for me, for the most part. Also, mine seems perfectly airtight and I get no gurgling which I'm pretty sure is due to bottom filling.

I like the 24mm version better.

yes i bottom fill both the 24mm and this one but i just can not get a proper seal with this mini with the tiny o-ring fitted, the few times i`ve refilled it (upside down) its leaked juice from the side of the lid and i`m assuming it may not be creating/keeping a proper vacumm with the gurgling??

hmm, kind of fearing that, only other thing i`ve thought of is buying/trying a smaller o-ring,
the one that comes with it is 7mm outer diameter i think and 1mm thick, not sure you can get thinner than 1mm so was considering a 5 or 6mm outer diameter.....
unless i go without the o-ring full stop but that may not work properly anyway and/or be hit and miss if it still leaks or not in the long run,
obviously i`d prefer one that works as it should with o-ring in place but not sure what will pan out with Vandy Vape as i bought it from fasttech and apparantly i`m not covered if bought from there, or hopefully send back to fasttech.

I've returned stuff to FT before and gotten a refund. Open a ticket and they will walk you thru it... will probably require a video of the defect.

Me too. I was a little concerned about the comments about refilling and flipping the tank and removing the top o-ring. All of which I have filed away if I have issues.
But, I've refilled several times now. Just as I'd like: remove the top cap, add juice, close and vape. No problems whatever. Still have the "remedies" filed away in case.
And the flavor is great.

Do you if a tube battery from smok like the one that comes with with v8 baby work with berserker? It is unregulated. I build my berserker with 0.8-1.2 ohm. I have read somewhere that these batteries do not work with higher ohm than 0.5-0.6. Thanks
I would be surprised if that was the case. My joyetech stick batteries have no trouble, but anything much over 1 ohm feels too cool for me.

I just got mine today and I like it. The only problem is that a lot of liquid is accumulating under the drip tip and getting to my mouth while vaping, I have every few minutes to take out the drip tip and clean under it. It seems to be a condensation problem? Wondering if anybody is having similar issues. Thanks

Yes. I do. And mine has suddenly started leaking from the air hole all of a sudden.

It did not when I first got it. First wicking spot on using the supplied coil. Removed the bigger o ring on the screw down top cap immediately after I took it out of the box. Been top filling with no problems. And then.... leak.

Compared to the Siren 2. The Berserker is just annoying now. Tried rewicking without over stuffing the ports but nothing seems to work.

Considering putting it back in the box. Pretty disappointing considering that it has quite good flavor. But too much hassle.

Why'd you remove the top cap? Wouldn't that be the likely source of your leaks? I'm a bit confused.... By the whole post.... Did you remove the bigger 0 ring for a reason? Because I have to assume it was there for a reason... ????

Much confusion here. Maybe you can clarify........... Or if I am not getting the whole picture, well, never mind. I can cope with confusion it happens to me quite frequently.

Well the Top cap is still on. But I removed the bigger O ring as I read that it poses a pressure problem.

It was fine for about 6 to 7 refills then it started leaking for no reason.

I've been using both the Minis and the 24mm Berserkers. I have removed NO o-rings from any of them, and I bottom fill all of them. Have had NO leaks, no gurgles, no other problems. I figure parts that come on tanks are there for a purpose, so I just leave them alone.
