And Hyundai's used to be just plain garbage... Now they have some seriously quality cars, and some premium vehicles that would make a Mercedes die hard think twice...

South East Asia is really turning the page on high volume, low cost quality... And I don't mind one bit! I appreciate being able to stretch a dollar as far as possible, especially in the current economy

See that bothers me to spend that much and know that a much cheaper clone is better, and I like the real one looks over the clone.

BTW this was the post that got my looking at the King lol

I understand your feeling. But I heard Surefire Vapor is gonna make silver contact pins soon so that should do the trick. Or better yet if you have a vape shop near by you can always get it silver plated. That's what a lot of people recommend me to do but there isn't a shop near where i live. I haven't given up yet even with my barely functional King so neither should you!
oh and thanks for digging up my King comparison post, I was just about to look for it.

For me I like to get the best that my money could buy. in the case of phones I love my galaxy nexus because it gave me the best android with the top of the market features (when I bought it) that non other phones had for a much better price than any other phone. now I'm going to upgrade to the new nexus, I wont buy a galaxy 4 nor an iPhone because they are much more expensive and wont give me the features I'm looking for and I wont buy cheap Chinese phones as they won't give those features to me..
now in clothing, I buy my jeans at 20-50 bucks and work great for me I don't see why I would spend +200 for the same thing.

VW/VV mods I got the zmax v3 as it gave me more features than the provari and had a much better price and appearance for me.

mech mods , same as jeans I can't justify spending 200 for something that I can get at 30 (I'm not into clones per se, I don't care about the logo nor "status" I don't know a single person that would see the difference between a nemesis a caravela or a stainless steel tube bought at a hardware store in my area..

As long as you drive it in some dirt once or twice a year... you can completely justify the cost and reduction in fuel mileage.

(Said with a perfectly straight face - by a guy with a 5" lifted LWB Jeep Limited ;-))

I should have just stopped here...

<---- Drives a 6.0L Yukon Denali AWD on 24" wheels 87 miles to work every day

I totally agree with what you said. I try my best not to spend money on things i don't need but don't always succeed. But this lesson has taught me a lot. A clone is not right, it copies an original and skips R&D. But in all seriousness, how much R&D are really put into a battery tube. All you need is a tube that fits a battery, a top cap and a bottom cap and thats all. Many of these mod, such as the Chi You or even the King takes their logos from other sources and is not produced by their own artists. Sometimes i feel like they are as much in the wrong as these clones, selling $200+ battery tubes. When i think to myself again, I feel kind of stupid paying so much for a battery tube. and in my case, one that barely works.

Damn, must be expensive filling it up.

Oh you know, it's not too bad...only 29.5 gallons every 4 days

I'm just happy to see that with fuel prices dropping it finally costs me less than 100 dollars to fill her up now lol. It gets very annoying having to swipe your card twice at the pumps to fill up!

the clone that I got did not compare at all to my real king! Did your clone have reverse threading on the lock? mine did not. that is a huge reason why the original is better. Threads were way smoother and the mod itself was heftier and more solid on the original. I could look and feel both and immediately tell which was real. no comparison here.
