Thanks HHV! Time to clean her up and get her ready.

I'm also happy to report that both KM3 and K5 are perfect for travelling, no leaking after a two hour flight!

I have to say, when Robin said "airy", my ears perked up. I like airy vapes, guess that why I like the KMv3. Sorry if that's not right, I'm too tired to go look, and I don't have the terminology all down yet.

I'm still on the fence. :) That's why I'm still lurking here.
Then you wil love the K5. :)

Warning to all: spaz strikes again. Definitely lube the o rings. Make sure you play with the air flow by twisting it back and forth a few times before assembling. Get the 'feel' for how it turns and how many times it takes to get it shut all the way before putting it all together....... Before filling..... (and losing a full tank of DF :( )

I must have just gotten lucky on the first fill.....second fill....Nope!

Everything is so damn tight right out of the box. I thought I was turning it correctly....Nope. Must have been shut just enough the first fill to not lose much. Not knowing the thing, whodathunk ? Just thought it was just some seepage.

So yeah, make sure you have that turning down before you put it all together.

I like making mistakes, I learn about these devices more thoroughly trying to find out what I did wrong. :D

That's why I wish they had done reverse threading on this, like the KF4.
But everyone whined and complained, and SM flushed a genius, simple idea down the toilet, just to relieve themselves of the negative feedback from crybabies!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I'm drunk!
Carry on, all!

Oh, I did over the weekend!! I should have come by and let you know!
Yes, that's a NICE airy vape! :D. Learning curve with that device too. I will have to get used to knowing when, and how often to squonk it though.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. :).
It it can happen, it will usually happen to me too.
But like you, I learn well from mistakes.
I likely won't forget to close that chamber again (KM3) before refilling.

I actually thought the same thing (of myself) after I posted that
Saying that I won't ever forget get to do that, now I've probably doomed myself to surely do it again.:lol::lol:
...at least one more time.

My KM3 air flow is set somewhere in the middle. It is tighter than the tightest setting on the K5. I cover up one of the two air holes on the K5 and it is equal to the KM3 set in the middle. I'll make more accurate comparisons later (vs KM3 wide open and KFLs).

I suppose it's possible I could get used to this looser air flow but if not I'll opt for the restrictor kit.

I would guess they transferred it to UPS.
    Are you rural??

No, we're just a mile or so from the post office where it landed early this morning. I've seen shipments from UPS handed off to USPS, but not the other way around. Will go over to the Post Office tomorrow and ask who exactly is this "final delivery agent"

A Kayfun enthusiast would be my guess. :D
Delivered today! Just $108 and 7 days from order to my door from MTMStore in Croatia!
I did go to the P.O. this morning and the lady there thought it was odd too ("Tendered to final delivery agent"). She said this is what happens if the address is a private (dirt) road or something like that. She checked and said it should be on the truck and voila! I did have to sign for it, so maybe I wasn't here yesterday and they keyed in the wrong code. I look forward to cleaning-building & vaping it soon!

This K5 is definitely too airy for me. As I said earlier it's possible I could get used to it. On the other hand, why should I if I don't have to? I will likely shelve this thing until I get the restrictor kit. I understand why Busardo ranted about this airflow. He's correct to say that Kayfun users have come to expect a certain airflow. Well, I cannot achieve the same airflow that is on my KFLs or my KM3 (adjusted down) so I find this K5 air flow disappointing. I am happy for the DTL crowd, however. They increased the air flow by quite a bit. So those who like airier draws will welcome this K5 air design. Not entirely sure why they didn't design a continuous air flow. Be that as it may, I will wait for the restrictor kit as I'm sure this will provide the air flow I prefer. And again, I will cut Svoemesto some slack because I think they had to rush this product to market to beat reg deadlines and did not have enough time to properly beta test the K5. I understand I like a tighter draw than the large majority of vapers but the fact remains Svoemesto did not give us an airflow design that can mimic what is on our KFLs or KM3 (adjusted down). So back to my KM3's until I get a restrictor kit. And this is not all bad...:)

My KF5 arrived yesterday, so I cleaned it up and threw on a quick build to give it a test run. First and foremost, the tank is nowhere nearly as aesthetically pleasing as the KF4. Compared to the work of art that the KF4 was, the KF5 looks extremely utilitarian. Oh well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

The airflow control implementation is a truly innovative idea. I'm mostly a MTL vaper, although I subohm every now and then, so I was a bit concerned about the loose draw. However, when I set the airflow to 1 (the hole size is designated by dots, 1 being the smallest, 4 being the largest), I got what I consider to be the perfect MTL hit. So far, I like the tank, despite the fact that it's not as pretty as its predecessor. It is, however, extremely simple to use, due to the fact that it's not comprised of as many parts as the KF4. Am I blown away by the KF5? Certainly not. Is it a quality, easy to build RTA with great airflow and excellent flavor production? Absolutely.

I liked the look of the K4 too. Though I have no problems with the K5 look either. But you're right, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Functionally, the K5 is a winner. Great flavor and very easy to use. Just need a tighter draw so I'll need the M2L kit. I'm sure that will bring it in my target zone.

I couldn't agree more on the ease of use. My biggest issue with the KF4 was the overengineering - there is simply no reason for a tank to be THAT complicated in design. A few months ago, my KF4 started giving me the dreaded dry hit issue. Diagnosing the cause was a major headache, to say the least. In fact, I still haven't fully resolved the issue. Fortunately, with the KF5's comparatively simple design, I don't see diagnostics being anywhere nearly as complicated, should an issue arise.

Ecf has NOT been very friendly, today. Error 522 is all I got for upwards of two hours. Ah, well. First world problems.

My K5 arrived, as did three juices - my first from HHV. The K5 is still in the box. The juices are all uncapped and breathing. Hummm. What does that say about me? :)

Didn't you also just get a Billet Box Rev. 4? That's what's occupying your time!
