I'm new to V4L and vaping in general (almost 2 months), and I love not smoking analogs anymore thanks to these forums and V4L. Love the products and service I've received as well.

Anyway, I have 2 auto and 2 manual batts and am trying to figure out which one I prefer. The issue I'm having is that I can't get some of the cartos to work at all with the manual batts. With some cartos, I hit the button, LED comes on, but no vapor. I put the carto on my autos and they work fine. It doesn't seem to be limited to flavor or wow vs cool either. One carto in the box will work on my manuals and the other won't. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or something I'm not doing? Do I need to clean or do some other adjustments? My autos are about 6 weeks old and the manuals are about 3-4 weeks old and I keep them fully charged. Just curious if there's something obvious I'm missing.

You're not doing anything wrong, you just need to make a minor adjustment. The center part of the battery connection needs to be raised up a little bit - I do this all the time on mine. Take a post pin or small sharp pointed object, insert slightly into the hole on the battery (note: you should not do this for autos as you could damage the auto switch, but if you do, be very careful and don't push the pin in very far), turn it on angle a little and gently lift up the center post as you move around in a circle. The center battery connection sits in the battery with an o-ring around it, once you lift it a little, it should connect and fire the carto fine. On some batteries, you have to do this after every charge since it gets pushed in by the charger. I know it sounds like a pain, but it takes 2 seconds to do, and once you do it once, it becomes habit. There is more information on this sticky thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/108194-fix-non-working-cartos.html, but I suggest focusing on the manual batteries rather than the carto itself.
