Hi all,

I've been using an MVP 2.0, which I'm happy with, but I've just received an automatic battery with a Kanger mini pro 3. I like the convenience of just picking it up and vaping, especially when watching TV. I feel like I'm getting the same nicotine hit, so am I better off sticking to automatic batteries or, being a noob, am I just unable to tell the difference between vape quality yet?

Thank you

As Skoony says, be very careful about juice getting down into the switch area of the auto. The switch is there, and it's a tiny air-actuated device. Dried juice will destroy it.

As long as the coil's resistance is "right" for the power level you want, they can yield a fine vape. But I've never seen an adjustable auto, so if you need more or less power for a particular coil or flavor, you have no way to adjust the vape to your tastes.

I have regular and variable voltage automatic batteries. They have never gone off accidentally. The only disadvantage I have found is adapters cannot be used because they cut off the airflow that is used to activate the battery. Some of the newer ones are almost sealed. There is a small hole to allow air movement that could allow juice to travel to the inside. At times there have been leaks that have left quite a bit of juice on and around the 510 pin. No harm done.

Just an example. I do not own the Smoktek brand.
