Hello there,
Today's review will be all about the new Freemax Autpod50. Thank you @freemax for sending me this kit for review. This pod-mod is unique, first it is the first pod-mod with dual mesh and second it is the first Freemax product with a screen. I very much like Freemax, especially their Mesh coils deliver outstanding flavor.

Some specifications from the Freemax website:

What I got in the box:

What I am missing in the box is a spare fill port plug and an additional airflow ring would have been welcome.
Initial thoughts:
It feels like a properly built pod-mod, its body is fully made out of FeCrAl giving it a proper feel. One thing I dislike is that its not made out of one, the penal around the button/screen area sits in there well, but when you tap it you hear some rattle. The pod- mod has a nice size for a pod-mod and its lays well in the hand. Paint is done really well, after almost 2 weeks use it doesn’t even have a tiny scratch.

Below a size comparison with an 18650 battery:

Buttons on the device are ok, would have been much nicer to have them in metal as well in stead of plastic. They also click quite loud compared to another device. They do function well, which in the end is most important.
As mentioned, it is the first Freemax product with screen, and you can definitely tell. It is not as modern as other pod-mod, its a bit old-fashioned. Navigating through the menu's is simple, 3 clicks (fire) to get into the menu and up and down to navigate, firebutton to confirm.
Function wise it has the most important features such as puff reset, factory reset etc. Additionally, you have cutoff time set (5-15 sec) and second counter, and battery temperature, so functions not all pod-mods have. It fires up quickly producing that flavorful vaper instantly. Also, the device recognizes the coil and whenever you put in the pod it sets the wattage automatically to the lowest suggested level. A nice safety feature in a way, but it can be annoying as well. For example, I was using the .25 coil at 50 watts, had to refill and after I did I put back the pod, it automatically sets it back to 30w.

A simple to fill pod it is with its easily accessible plug on the button and large enough port to fit any bottle tip. Unfortunately, the pod sits deep inside the device and is dark, so it's hard to know how much liquid you have in there sometimes, had some dried burned hits due to an empty pod without knowing. With it's 4 ML capacity its OK, but dual coils like sipping up a lot of juice. Would have liked to see a larger pod. The drip-tip is comfortable. Magnets connect strongly as well.

YES(!) it has adjustable airflow, which in my opinion is a must for a proper pod-mod and I have to admit that Freemax did it the right way. It screws easily onto the coil which then easily slides into the pod. The airflow ring is smooth and turns well both ways.

Battery keeps up well, get 155 puffs on 50 watts and 170 puffs at 40 watts, which is not bad at all. Charging takes around 70-80 minutes with its 2A quick charge, also not bad for a 2000mAh battery. USB C is always good, right choice from Freemax.
Most importantly, how does it vape? If I have to be entirely honest; AMAZING! These dual Mesh coils produce so MUCH flavor it beats all pod-mods in my opinion, and I have reviewed plenty. It delivers smooth dense clouds and the performance is outstanding. It has no issues with chain vaping at all. I liked the .25 coil at 50watts most. The .5 coil also delivers a lot of flavor, but the .25 just simply pushes higher in wattage. These coils are also quite big compared to other pod-mods, so my first request to Freemax would be to bring out a Mesh type RBA, there is sufficient space for it.
Freemax claims 35-40 refills, but these coils will last longer than that, I think that’s probably the minimum. I have done more than 40 refills on one coil and it still performs well.

Conclusion:
Looking for a pod-mod for flavor? This is at this moment your best choice. It vapes so well and the flavor is amazingly pure. Freemax keeps up its reputation for producing amazing coils, just like with the Fireluke 2 and Mesh Pro.
It is not the cheapest pod-mod out there, prices vary between 45-60$. Pack of replacement coils cost around 15-18$. I would not regret paying such price if I did though.
Pro's:
- FLAVORRRRRRRRRRRR
- Adjustable airflow
- Properly built out of FeCrAl
- Fires up fast
- Coils will last you a good couple of weeks
- Proper drip-tip
- Battery performs well
- 2A quick charge
- USB C
Con’s:
- Menu, but to be honest it is not bad for their first screen device.
- Dark pod, hard to see liquid level
- Not made out of one-piece FeCrAl, penal rattles a bit
- Buttons are loud and should have been made from metal
- Missing some spare parts, such as additional plug for fill-port
