Question ...

Is Alien Vision's Gorilla juice the same thing as their Boba's Bounty ... just with the banana flavor added? Or is it a distinct juice?

I tried AVE when I first started vaping and didn't have the proper equipment to bring out it's full flavor. Now that I have decent hardware, I love this stuff! Especially their Gorilla Juice.

I purchased both ... but I can't get enough of their Gorilla Juice.

Ah! One other question: I'm a carto person. How well does this juice work in a tank? It's thick.

Nope, not quite. But if you add their Banana Slurry to Boba's, it's close. But there's "something " missing.

It's amazing how different Boba's now tastes compared to my starting equipment. It really does make a difference. Within the next few weeks I'll have money for a vv device, and I can't wait to see how it tastes then. :)

Thanks for that information, Jackinkc! I've been wondering about this for a while now, considering one of my favorite juices, Malty Toffee, is just a bit too thick for its own good. Am I right in assuming such a little amount will not affect the flavor?

Also, when you guys mention "distilled water", is that just the typical bottled water you can pick up at the carry out - like Evian or Deer Park? Or should I hunt for something more specifically marketed as "distille water"?

Vego,

I bought distilled water at CVS. A gallon was less than $2.00.

It does not effect the flavor to me at all. Although depending on the life of the cart, my flavor never stays 100% the same. lol. So it might effect it, I just can't tell.

I originally emailed Corky from Alien Visions asking if he could thin the juice a bit for me. Below was his response....

Howdy Jack!

We can't thin the juice ourselves. To thin a juice we would have to alter the recipe and that would go against our core policies. However, I can give you some easy ways to do it yourself that would thin the liquid considerably and still retain the flavor and throat hit. What we have found is that just a couple drops of distilled water per 6ML of juice will thin out a juice considerably and still keep the nicotine content relatively the same. I hope this helps!

Best wishes,

Ben

NO, it is NOT just bottled water. It is specifically labeled "Distilled Water." Not purified water, not filtered water, DISTILLED only.

why is it so important that it's distilled water and not some other type?

Flavor. Distilled or de-ionized water is H2O and nothing else. Plain bottled water still has impurities that could react with existing flavor molecules, bond, and form new molecules that may/may not taste bad.

There was an article I read a while back about organisms in tap water that were infecting people's brains and killing them from using netty pots. While it was safe to drink, it wasn't safe to run through your sinus cavity.

Distilled water is boiled, which kills any organisms in the water. I don't know if that is the reason everyone recommends it but that would be my guess.

Hi all, I am sorry if this is considered a hijack, if so if someone can point me to the place to ask. I just got my first BB today and OMG. I have been having sooo many problems with finding my place. I think this is the juice. Now for my question. I am still experimenting with equipment and as a relative newbe am still learning. Yuo guys talk about using tanks with ave. Can someone explain tanks to me? and also the deal with the hole in the carto thing? I just got my first mod last week. An old goat bottom feeder and am loving it. Have ordered some LR cartos, my first and waiting on them. But this tank thing has me curious and pondering. If someone can point me to a tanks for dummies 101 I would appreciate it. Thanks...and again, Loving that BB...have some Gorilla but have not tried it yet.

There really isn't much to know. They all do the same thing. Basically, all a tank is is a tube with a top and bottom cap with holes for a carto to slide through. Some use o-rings, some use grommets, some have threads, but they all do the same thing. The area outside of the carto but inside of the tank tube acts as a reservoir of juice to feed the carto. The carto has to have a hole punched/drilled or a slot cut in order to feed the juice.

You can find all kinds of tanks out there. In my sig, I have a few different videos regarding tanks. One is my review of the smoktech dual coil tank, and one is a tutorial of how to create your own carto tank using a syringe.
