All tests were done on & around July/August 2013.
All tests were done on clean wicks through an eVic / ViVi Nova 1.8 Head (new head every test).
All tests were also done w/ a K100 / Nimbus / dual coil .8 ohm silica wick w/ 3/32 airholes drilled out. With fresh batteries.
No mixing of flavors were done. Again, new wicks on both devices for each flavor.
Boba's Bounty: 9.9/10 - If you're worried about what to buy as your first purchase from AVE, do yourself a favor and just get some BB. Obviously there's enough info on EC Forum to read over for hours on what people think of this juice. For me, the blend of Honey / Tobacco make it the best tobacco juice I've ever tasted. Won't ramble on too long about how amazing this juice is, just buy it. If you like used to smoke cigs, this wouldn't be a bad first juice to try, as it's the closest thing to a real cig I've vaped, but more tasty.
Dream Berries: 5/10 - I love berry flavor juices, but this one I feel needs re-working. Tastes too much like some type of cough syrup, but still pleasent enough to vape on, I wouldn't throw it away/give it away - I'll still use it in a pinch. Tastes a lot like Berry flavored Hookah smoke... if you like Hookah Berry Flavors, this might agree w/ you.
Christy's Cappuccino: 5/10 - This could be SOOO much better. If they just added some more chocolate / Coffee flavor to it, it'd be a winner. I'm only giving it a 5 because I think it has a lot of potential, but where it stands now - it's mediocre if you're looking for a coffee/cappuccino/frappuccino flavor. Has the weirdest berry after flavor, not sure where the heck that comes form.
Massive Chocolate Mint: 7/10 - If I was a menthol smoker I might of given this a 9.5/10... but I'm not. Tastes more menthol then chocolate, around 75% mint, 25% chocolate undertones. If you dig mint, give this a go, I think it's great because the chocolate is a slight undertone, not too overpowering.
Bee's Knees: 6/10 - To me this tasted like tobacco, a milder version, and not as tasty, or on the same level as Boba's. Good enough to be a brand's flagship flavor though. AVE Juice is one of those boutique brands for sure.
Gorilla Juice: 9/10 - I'm not big into banana flavors, but GJ is that good. It's an amazing balance of Vapor:Flavor. This is one you could vape on w/ sub ohm dual coils, or through standard cartos/clearos for houuuurrsss. Right behind Boba's in my opinion. It's taste is banana, slight vanilla, slight pineapple... think relaxing on a beach in Oahu. That's what it tastes like. Very pleasant, great for long chain vaping.
PG Hype: 8/10 - This could be a 7/10 or it could be a 9/10. If I was a fan of Peaches / Cantaloupe,I may have given this a 10/10. That is exactly what it tastes like. The reason why this stands out from other juices that uses that blend is it's subtleness. Not too overpowering, again AVE knows when too much flavor kills a juice, the balance is amazing. Initially smelling it, I thought this would be a rush of fruit, but actually... you really only get the peaches/cantaloupe on the exhale.
I like to think of AVE for 3 juices, Gorilla Juice, Boba's, and PG Hype. I'm going to eventually try all of their flavors and post a 100% AVE Juice line review. If you're thinking about trying AVE, just know that (in my opinion) the one thing that makes them a top 10 brand for me.... is their ability to make juices have lots of flavor, but not burn you out on the flavor. The only juice on their line so far that I would say is low-end would be dream berries... that tastes like something you could find at a normal smoke shop, not vapor shop. However, like I said - the hookah lovers may disagree with me there!
I hope you try AVE Juice - be at your computer and ready at 8am Pacific Standard Time. They usually close the website after 15 minutes of ordering.
On a side note Ben (the owner) is great! He always writes "You Rock! =)" on the side of each of my packages! That's cool.
Give them a try, they are one of the Top 10 brands imo.
