Geeze; everyone must be getting their yards together, it's been so quiet here. So, I thought I'd share some adventures in vaping I've experienced over the past week.
510 Cartos: The best thing about cartos, to me, is they hold an insane amount of juice. They are really great for long car trips. When I saw one of my favorite suppliers got them in, I purchase a couple boxes.
Yesterday, I finally slapped one on my 5V stompbox and OMG! It was awesome!! The throat hit & vaper output was 10 times anything an 808 can do! I just wish I had this last week when I was making the drive to & from Minnesota!
Granted, I was using it in combination with my eGo during the day, but the cart lasted me almost 24 hrs!!
I have never had that new carto feeling when I refilled an 808, but the refilled 510 is hitting just as good as new for me. Granted, it is being used on a 5V and maybe that's a big differance, but who cares; it's rocking my world
Hope this love fest continues......
LR 801 atty & the dead Stick: I bought a couple after reading that it will make a 3.7v hit like a 5v. Cool! I love the feel, look & carrying case of the Janty Stick, but 3.7v was just never enough for me. Sounds like an awesome thing to try out.
I had been using my Stick with a 510 adaptor. Adaptors take a little of the bloom off the 510 rose, but when trying to stealth vape & you're craving, it rocks. I figured the attys would be in the mail delivery, so I was charging it up & was vaping on it, trying to get the juice in the atty used up. I remember thinking to myself "Dang. This is really rockin' it right up there with the eGo today......." That should have been a warning; twice I have thought those same thoughts in ref. to the Stick..........
Then the mail man came. The LR atty was here!!
I decided to take a couple last puffs on the Stick before removing the 510. I hit the button and realized the light is red....Hmmmm...funny....thought it was charged up.........should be.....hit it again...blue....red....wait....my finger isn't even on it!!
Can you believe the %^*^%$^ timing!!!
And can you believe all the luck I've been having with that silly Stick!
AND IT'S NEVER BEEN MY GO-TO-A-NUMBER-ONE-UNIT!! LOL
Bought the first one in Aug, a month later, had to return it when it stopped working & then again in November. It was with the November replacement that I got the 510 adaptor, so I'm thinking maybe the previous issues were due to leaking into the unit, because it's always worked flawless until yesterday.
I started filling out a ticket to see if they had any suggestions on how I could fix the button when I remembered that it could very well still be under warranty.......but if they use the November date, I think I had just passed the 6mnth mark by a few DAYS......so, we'll see how that turns out.
Grrrrrr.......
BUT, I'm still in love with my eGo. Everyone says that's it's a steady go from start to finish, but I've always been able to tell when it's starting to die down. Seems to not hit has well, but will still last a good hour or so. Maybe I'm just that tuned into my vapes? LOL
My 5v Stompbox is my second favorite, only because I don't want to get too attached to another 5V model, since the hit is way more than a 510. But, I do love the on/off switch on it! Never fear when carrying it in my purse or leaving the atty on & walking away (Thomas' smokin' unit still replays in my mind LOL)
So, how's your vape life been lately?
