I know it's a long shot, but might you have any AW 18490 button-top batteries for sale? And might they be in great to good condition?

Buying/Using Old Batteries is Not the greatest thing to do.

And I would Risk throwing 25 Bucks down the drain on a Pair of these before I went down that path.

I feel your pain and i have a simple solution

put a rare earth magnet on top of a flat top,it does work

When I needed batteries for a gifted provari someone gave me I ended up getting I think of the Samsung VTC fives I can't remember the green wrap guys that everyone uses for stuff anyhow apparently they like weld the button top onto it. It made me a little bit nervous at first but then I realized there's people using magnets and I feel like maybe a welded button top is a better option. Especially since it's IMR batteries that I purchased it from and I consider them to be a relatively safe business when it comes to their products so if it was just going to explode on me they probably wouldn't sell it I don't know if that's helpful at all

Liion also has rewrapped welded button top molicel 18650...as far as the 18490 the battery junction link would be the most credible source
