I am using 1.5 ohm DCs on my Buzz, and it is rough on batteries. I thought AW batteries might help but I don't know which ones would be best. Randy offers IMR 16340, which are 550 mAh and icr 16340, which are 750 mAh. Any advice for this physics-challenged vaper??? :)

move your resistance up.. 1.5 is great for 3.7/4.0 volt... the vv buzz is great with a standard atty.... just crank it till your happy. if you go up much higher than 4.0/4.2 with the 1.5 your going to blow through atty kinda quick.. jmho

Thanks lrd. I actually have ordered some 2.0 ohm DCs but have heard from a friend that they don't produce the vapor, even at 5.5 V (I heard this after I ordered them, of course). I should get them soon. But I also have a lot of 1.5 ohm DCs, and I love the flavor and vapor they produce, but they drain my Trustfire batteries quickly. Would AWs even help with this? The Buzz doesn't play well with the 1.5s over 4 V, and my ProVari gives me error messages if I try them over 3.8V. I was hoping the 2.0 ohm DCs would be the answer.

the pro vary is a "smart mod" it knows what atty you have on there. the buzz is a workhorse if you tell it to over power a atty it will do so...lol.. i love my buzz i use it for tasting new flavors....
resistance vrs volts gives you watts.. or so i believe.. so weather you adjust your atty resistance or your voltage you are basically just adjusting you wattage..... when i use my buzz i just start it off at 4.0 volts with a standard res atty and crank it up
or down until i find my sweet spot for that juice....
i like all the AW IMRs........ there a good solid batt.....

Thanks! I use the AWs in my Vari and they do a good job. I was just curious if the IMR versus the icr would be better for my needs. I realize the higher mAhs would give me longer battery life (or so I've heard) but I don't know the diff between IMR and icr.

Hi tgcrna, please read over this link Battery Information Table of Contents, Basic to Advanced . If you still have questions after reading over that whole site please feel free to PM me. The IMR will give you better performance.

Hi Randy

Sending you more of my money! :)

Thank you Gil. That is very nice of you :) Your order will ship out today.

Thanks Randy! I will read that and hopefully increase my understanding of these things.

OK Randy, now I'm thinking you were pulling my leg :p:confused: At least I hope so.... you did read in my original post that I am "physics-challenged", right??
I'll just trust your advice and go with the IMR

Send me a PM with the exact info you need. I prefer you understand this before you make a purchase. :)
