Another great Xtar charger has been added to our site !!! The Xtar MP1S Single Bay Charger. Perfect for the traveler or keep it in the car. Check it out Xtar MP1S
I like the size and USB connection on the Star MP1S. But, there's no description for this item. The Xtar SP2 says that it's the next version of the WP II. Where does the MP1S stand in relation to the WP II?

I'm looking for something to charge a flat-tip IMR 18650 reliably and safely.

Hi DancingHeretik, The MP1S has most of the features the WP II has but charges batteries a bit slower. The charge rate is 500mAh. It will also charge the 18650. Here is the link to it on our website. Xtar MP1S

My brother gave me the Lambo that he bought at COV. This is the battery they recommend. They're out of the batteries right now. But, even if they weren't, I think RTD Vapor might be a better place to make sure I'm really using the right battery.

What I do know is that the battery has to be IMR and flat-top. But, aren't flat-top batteries unprotected?

What battery would you recommend?

Hey Randy, thanks again for the open adapters for my 901 hh357's, which actually work (avid's didn't). Actually Hanna was using a different thread pattern and unless he's changed that, the only adapters that i could get to work are from RTD, after quite a few attempts with adapters from different vendors, I'm SUPER happy with these.

Oh and it's only AW imr for me and my LR atomizers.

To be honest I do not know much about the Lambo PV. I can only recommend the battery COV said to use. Unfortunately we do not sell that battery. Perhaps another supplier selling the Lambo will have extra flat top batteries.

So, are you saying that neither of these will work:
Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mAh 3.7V
MNKE IMR 18650

I was hoping one of them would.

My first thought on the subject was the MNKE 18650 would probably work for you but I do not know for sure. Since I don't have first hand knowledge of the Lambo, or using the MNKE in it, I will not recommend it to you. I hope you understand my position on this.

Randy

As much as I would like to be told to "just buy this and everything will be alright", I appreciate your honesty.

While I'm waiting for COV to get back to me about the battery, I was wondering.

If I do end up getting one of the two batteries I mentioned (Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mAh 3.7V or MNKE IMR 18650), the Xtar MP1S would work fine for both of them, right? Just a little slow, but effective and safe, right?

Yes, the Xtar MP1S will work with those batteries and be a reliable charger.

Cherry Vape drip tips are available at RTD !!! DREAM TIPS BY CHERRY VAPE

Yay! I had to get the pink pawn to go with my new pink/pink REO Grand that's arriving tomorrow. I've used my stainless steel Ming from RTD for almost an entire year, there is no substitute.
