I received a shipment of the VP1 chargers on Monday from Xtar. I am testing them to see if they justify a $50.80 price tag that Xtar makes me put on them. I am really looking at how accurate the voltage display is. I will update soon.

Good to see you are testing, rather than just getting them in and putting them on the shelf. Great vendors do these kinds of things for us, the customer.

A four bay version is not offered. I will ask them if they future plans to expand on this charger.

great shop love all the wick and wire you sell i just made an order today very happy with your site in general,

only thing i really think could be improved on would be your shipping you only use USPS(very slow and un-reliable in my state i rarely use it anymore)and your shipping prices are very high for USPS,if you are being charged those prices to ship to us then your shipper is ripping you off you could send the stuff Fed-Ex two day for those prices.

Hi jazon1, Thank you for your order ! Our shipping system takes your order weight and location and sends it to the USPS live server for shipping cost. Shipping a 2lb order from PA to NM will net a higher shipping cost with USPS. We do provide a coupon code (ECF5) to help offset some of that cost

We have been exploring other shipping options. If FedEx can offer us some good rates we will definitely use them.

Hi B2L, So far I think the VP1 is a great charger. The voltage meter display is accurate and is a nice feature to have. It terminates charging at 4.19v on average which is good for your batteries. Also not having to deal with spacers is nice. The build quality is good and on par with Xtar's other chargers.

A question I am getting a lot of.......Is the VP1 better than the Pila ? Time will tell !
