So i found my battery with a half an inch of shrink wrap missing. Half an inch long and all the way around. Is it still safe to is? If not could i shrink wrap the missing portion? If it's possible?

It is 11 dollars for a new battery and at best 50 to replace the mod not to mention any potential injury's. Its really not worth it. Get a new battery and chalk one up to experience take better care of your equipment.

Another way to think of 11 Dollars is Less That two packs of Smokes.
