IMR 14500 Li-Ion battery

These are generic IMR 14500 batteries, but all the testing I've found on them shows that they are close to the same as the AW brand. I would recommend them.

Ok so just to make sure... The high drain version is not protected but is still safe chemistry? The regular version is protected but not high drain?

I have been using AW IMR 14500 batteries for quite a while. They are safer chemistry batteries.

For example:
Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

You'll notice the first two are IMRs and protection is not mentioned. The third battery however, does make mention of protection.

Whether or not you choose to use an "off" brand is up to you. Personally, I would try to find the real thing.

Ok thank you. I was looking at super t but they didn't have the high drain in stock. I was looking for the real thing just seems no one has them in stock!

The ones I listed are essentially the same thing. And yes they are safe chemistry. BTW the "real" thing is just a wrapper around different brands that the AW company has deemed high quality. Its not a actual brand. Whether you want to pay for the label is up to you, but all the testing on the generic IMR batteries I listed shows it is very comparable to the cells AW list.

Heres a link to the test done by a member of a flashlight forum:

And post 11 shows that the cells can handle amps that are once again, very comparable to AW cells, and that they will work fine in the our application.
