AW IMR 18650 1600mAh 3.7v protected?

are the red ones protected?

Don't know if you guys have tried them yet but the new Redilast 2900 is one heck of a Batt, I just got 8of these bad boys and Im liking them better then the AW, give em a try if you get a chance, you might have to use the 2600 or check the size specs to see if the 2900's will fit your PV's they are just a tad bigger but there working in most of my mods, they pack one heck of a punch and are of top shelf quality, and I am an AW guy by the way, but these are really something

Yes, I've heard good things about the Redilasts too. Don't know if you know, but the AW 2900mah's are made with the same cells as the Redilast 2900. So if you wanted those they are an option too, but personally for the Price, the AW 2600mah i recommended above is probably the best buy and i can vouch for it's perfect fit in the P18.

Ya I know there all basically the same and Panasonic for the most part I believe, I also just saw the comparison charts and the Redilast out performed the AW on the chart I saw, I have been using all AW's for a long time, there top shelf quality Batts, but I have to say, I'm a bit more impressed with the newer Redi, it seems to hold the higher 4.2 charge longer then the AW and the graph I saw showed them holding a higher charger for longer until drop off too, been running them for a couple weeks now and I'm very impressed with this Batt, thats all. I now remember you sell the AW's sorry

No arguments from me that Redilast are some darn good batteries, it's just with the AW, i know they fit due to their flat top, that and i set up the post height on the top cap based off an AW and AW's are a damn good battery too.

Yup yup yup they sure are, and the Redilast 2900 is Bigger then the AW2900 too, so they may not fit your Mod, would be nice to find out, maybe take a look at the spec size difference David to find out

I have both the AW and Redilast 2900 mAh 18650s. The Redilast is 68.4 mm long and the AW is 67 mm.
