HELLO!!! I am sorry for another newbie question.

I was excited to receive AW IMR 18650 and xtar WP2 II Charger for my LavaTube today. But, I just don't know how to "use" these safely. I have AW IMR 18650 3.7v 2000mAh and do I just put that into the charger and let it charge until I see green LED light comes on (haven't used it but I am assuming it is green light)?

Or do I need to put it on one of these "1A", "0.5A", "0" first and let it charge until the green LED light comes on???

Also, is there anything I need to do when I charge it for the first time?
I would be very appreciated if someone could teach me or direct me on how to use these batteries and charger SAFELY?

Thank you for reading the post and your time to answer my questions :)

The Xtar WP2 II is an excellent charger. Slide the switch to the 1A setting. The batteries will charge faster at that setting. The .5 amp setting is for lesser capacity batteries. The 0 setting means no charge. Note where the + and - signs are, as that's the way the batteries are placed in the charger. To charge only one battery, put it in the left channel. When looking at the charger, the lights will be at the top, and the left channel will be on the left, and the right on the right. If the battery is discharged, the lights will be red. When the batteries are charged, the light turns green.

I agree with Bruiser about it being an excellent charger. All his info is spot on except the 0 setting. With the switch in the 0 position and the charger NOT PLUGGED IN, you can place a battery in the #1 slot and use the usb port to charge a cell phone, mp3 player, etc.

WOW GREAT INFO!!!
Thanks a lot Jerryo100 :)

This is the best charger you can buy. I would buy batteries from Electronic Cigarettes and AW batteries by Super T for price. I bought the above charger on eBay. I never have more than one empty battery!

That charger looks great and I definitely recommend Super T for batteries and actually charger as well!!!
Thank you for the info :)
