Hello everyone!
Greetings from Malaysia!
Been a 1/2 pack a day smoker (which some say is still not too bad) and I bid farewell to my long term friend of 15 years last November. This is my second month into vaping.
The best thing about being off traditional tobacco cigs. is that I don't stink anymore when I come home. No more shower and change of clothes before I can give my kids a big hug! Oh, yeah, and I can :vapor:anywhere I couldn't smoke before.

My cousin was vaping before me, and he got me to convert. I started off with an eGo-W starter kit, then wanted more, so I got myself an L-Rider Robust variable voltage PV. After a month, I upgraded again (which I hope will be the last time) to a Vamo... and this thing kicks @$$! I have also got some other smokers to convert as well, but the number is too small to be of great significance. But to me, the people that have made the switch are the most that mattered.;)

At present, our authorities have imposed a ban on the sale of e-liquids in Malaysia. The growing vapor community here is at discontent, and we're now anxiously awaiting word on the development of this business, which looks to have made a dent in the revenue of tobacco companies here, as well as reducing the government's earnings from the sale of deathsticks. With the given situation, I fear if there is no alternative apart from quitting totally, my journey into this new hobby will be a very short one.

While it lasts, I'll just enjoy the ride.. and hopefully make some new friends along the way here at ECF!

Cheers!!

Congratulations on kicking a bad, deadly habit and welcome to the new, misunderstood, eventually banned e-cigs
I know it's getting hard to be a vaper in Southeast Asia. I have a few friends in Sing that are having a hard time as well. I seriously hope that your government sides on common sense and welfare of the people, and not just profit! Good luck!

Dont stop man. Learn DIY or lets figure out something... ;) ;) they shouldnt be forcing you to smoke death sticks. You are a human being and have the right to chose what you will smoke.

Could do DIY with plenty of instructions around. But I ain't no chemist, and I'll probably screw my brew up.
And for a regular dude on the street to get his hands on some nicotine concentrate, I'm gonna be asked a lot of questions :D

Thanks man.. We're all hit hard over here. There are locally made juices, but... worlds apart from what u guys get in the States. And we get limited choices.
But we just gotta make do with what we can get our hands on nowadays. Even the rubbish tasting ones will start to taste really good eventually.
