If a coffee roaster gave out free samples (enough to get you over the 2pm caffeine slump), I can see that easily getting abused by neighbors who don't want to drop $3 at starbucks.
If the only samples were decaf, the "get you over the 2pm caffeine slump" effect would be diminished. This is one of the reasons I recommended juice samples without nicotine.

(There are other good reasons for it as well: if the samples have a higher nicotine level than the customer vapes, the flavor can be masked by nicotine burn, rendering flavor sampling unhelpful to would-be customers.)

But 0mg does lack throat hit and can leave liquids being perceived as lower in flavor.

As far as actual samplers go I think they could deal with that and 0mg would give them an idea of what the liquid will taste like with nicotine. Newbies may need some explanation that what they are tasting will not be exactly what their nicotine liquid tastes like.

I like that 0mg would weed out those who can't afford a pack of smokes and are just coming in to get a nic fix.

The B&Ms local to me sample 12mg. As I do not use nicotine, I inquired on why they use 12mg and not 0 mg. The employee's explanation was that the vast majority of their juice customers vape 12mg as they were trying to get off cigs. So they of course cater to their larger clientele in terms of juice sampling.

Mare Ze: What you experienced is the norm- stores putting out cartos or clearos already with the juice. One I go to hear in Baltimore has prefilled cartos for you to try or you can use the sample bottles if you are a dripper. I don't think and wouldn't expect them to allow you to fill up your own tank.
