B&M Coil Build

So I went to my local B&M and got my first rda. To learn he built a setup for me showing me what to do. I created a diagram of the coil setup which Ive never seen people use before. Normally I see them alternate but he did this:

Not really. Placement can be either way depending on the number of wraps. Sometimes a coil may have more wraps than will fit within the space allowed for adjacent posts, so the coils alternate instead. In the same vein, if a coil has too few wraps, then alternating might be harder to place than using adjacent posts. Just depends on person preference at the time of the build.

The only other concern would be placement of airflow holes. If it isn't adjustable, then coil placement could adversely affect performance. If the coils are placed as you show, but also centered on the airflow holes, then you are golden.

Just looked. Of course theyre not. Its a plume veil colne so theyve got the holes centered and the coils are off to the side. Looks like Ill be modifying them (I think theres enough tail to pull them a little and move them

Good luck. That's why I alternated mine. It was less to travel for centered.

Just rotate your air flow so they are in front of the coils. That build would work fine.

This. Your atomizer has 3 options for bottom airflow. Use the one that gets your coils lined up to your airflow.

Just build your own coils from now on and you won't have this problem. It's easier than you think.
