Hi all, I hope this day finds you well and with many tasty vapes.

I want to try dripping because I want to experience better juice flavors. I couldn't care less about sub ohm-ing (not a judgment, this is just for me).

Been reading around looking at some threads here and apparently provided that I keep my coils and such in an acceptable range, I won't *have* to buy a mechanical mod...but my local B&M, a great store that has been right on the money thus far with all my other stuff, is telling me not to try it because it will mess up my MVP.

I don't have a ginormous itch to start this right THIS SECOND, but I do want to get into building coils soon because I want to enjoy my vaping with incremental steady improvements.

If anyone has any recommendations for a serviceable mech mod that won't break my bank, I appreciate it. I'm not looking to vape for sport, so the Best Thing Ever doesn't need to apply.

Thanks a ton, even though I'm sure this is the 84,673,564th topic on this subject.

Have a great day!! :)

Don't know why they would say that... did they try to sell you a mech mod after saying it? If you keep your builds up above 1.3 (1.5 probably would be best just to give you some cushion.) you'll be fine. Keep it clean, don't over drip..

Well, they are selling vape stuff, so I guess they have motive LOL

Their tune changed a little when I said I'm not interested in sub-ohming. And I really appreciate the advice.

Did they give you a reason?

The answer is, this is completely 100% false. Like you said, as long as you keep your resistance high, there will be absolutely no issues. It is no different than using a standard clearo. The idea is exactly the same, electrical current passes through resistance wire, heats up juice saturated in wick, :vapor:
