Back from hospital

Hello all!

I just wanted to let you know I was in the hospital over the weekend. I went to the ER on Friday with chest pain, and was hospitalized until yesterday. I had an angiogram done, and another blockage was found. So the doctor balooned it open, and placed another cardiac stent to keep the artery open. Thank God I did not have another heart attack!! I'm home now, and doing fine, Praise God!!!!

As a side note, the hospital I went to has a new policy against vaping. They did allow the patients to vape until just recently. (I had vaped while I was there several months ago with no problem.) But now it is against hospital policy: they don't want anything ingested by the patients orally. They now classify PVs as an oral nicotine delivery device, and therefore against hospital policy.

Anyway, I will get back to posting the daily Bible verses again, just to let everyone know.

LOL!! Not at all!! I'm looking forward to eating there! Thank you for the prayers anyway! I just went into the ER, and they ended up admitting me. I really didn't expect that. I just thought they'd give me some medication, and send me home. I'll have to "talk" to my sister for not letting you know!! (Just kidding! )

I'm doing OK, though, and just taking it easy. I feel much better! I truly hope this is the last time I need to have an angiogram! Heart disease runs in my family, so I have to be extra vigilant. I'm keeping a close eye on things!

Anyway, it's good to be back! I'll post again tomorrow sometime.

What a shock, but you kind of already knew something wasn't right, and I know that you didn't want roto rooter going back in, but it's done, now, the Lord got you through it, and you came out better because of it. The even better news was that you didn't have a heart attack! Thank You, Jesus! You'll be ready to shovel snow before you know it! I wouldn't have cared if the hospital said no vaping.....I would have done it anyway. But then, I'm the person that wants to open the emergency door on an airplane after reading "DO NOT OPEN THIS DOOR!" Oh yeah? I can fix that!!!! Where's that door! When I would have to go into the hospital to have my bladder stretched, I'd wheel my little lactated ringer's pump outside with me, and if someone said anything about my smoking, well, there are two other hospitals in town that would just love my insurance dollars.

Yeah, I guess I sorta push the envelope. 'Who...lil ol' me?' (said with a southern accent.) 'As God as my witness, I will never go hungry again!' (Scarlett O'Hare shaking her fist in Gone with the Wind.)

I do take up for myself unless the Lord says no.....and then I'll grumble about it cause the Lord won't let me. But, I obeyed....well that time, anyway. My sister had grieved me with verbal attacks and I asked the Lord if I could just punch her once......just once. He said, "No retribution." "PLEEEEZZZZZZZ let me hit her!!!!!" "No retribution," He repeated. Well, foot! And on top of that, He wanted me to forgive HER!

Is there anyone in your life that you need to forgive? That just came to me......foot!
