Hello everyone...again!
I've been vaping since 2008, when they first started making these great devices. I was a member here back in the day, but couldn't recall my username or pw, and have no access to the old email.

I got 'off the wagon' after a couple of years, but now that I have taken to vaping again I realize how much it has evolved! The new sub-ohm stuff, all of the new companies, and plethora of information, vaping today is lightyears ahead of the old 902 and 401 e-cigs that first came out! I am really looking forward to reading what I have missed out on, and I can share my own experiences.

One thing that I still have no answer for, maybe someone has figured it out by now...I started on the pure PG juices back in the day, and as people made 'tanks' for the devices, I tried VG. It made my stomach feel violently ill, and just a single vape session gave me stomach cramps for 2 days! From experimenting, I have determined that it happens with fresh juice, as the cramps are less when the juice is steeped for several months. Unfortunately, my equipment was wicked, and VG doesn't play nice with wicks, but now the newer tanked systems are perfect for VG...and I am looking at juices again. Does anyone know why fresh VG would make me so sick? I am toking a 50/50 blend now, and haven't had any issues.

I have also found, for people trying to quit 'analogs', that vaping fruit or candy flavors completely gets me away from cigs. Just throwing that out there.

I am very glad this forum is still here! I was researching one of my utube sub's favorite juices, and this forum saved me from getting burned! I was going to get some Cuttwood flavors, but someone said they have Titanium Dioxide in them. And from what I read, the issue hasn't been corrected yet?

Thanks everyone, see you around...

Fruits and Menthol is what keeps me off the cancer sticks. It's funny I hated menthol cigarettes but I love menthol e-liguid. When I got started there was no good starter kits out now it's crazy how many great starter kits there is. You can get a solid device and tank for $30 online and around $50 at a B&M. Glad your' back on the wagon, or is it off the wagon I'll have to ask George Costanza.

Welcome back!... Most people nowadays tend to go towards the more VG juices. As far as stomach aches associated with pure VG, it's the first I've heard about anyone having bad reactions to VG. The only thing I can think, is maybe you didn't get the %99.5 or better VG, and the other parts were tainted with another chemical. Just because it says VG, or PG, doesn't mean it's %100. If you want to give VG a try, you can head down to your local store and get some HUMCO Glycerine and try mixing some of that with your juices to see if you get any upset stomach. Of course, we're all humans, and can be allergic to anything.

As far as the Titanium Dioxide, the removed it from their juices. Titanium dioxide is a white food coloring. Although there has not been any recorded risks of humans increased risks of inhaling titaium dioxide, studies in rats suggest that there was a risk to rats...but thusfar, no human data correlates with the findings of rats. In laymans terms, they found it to cause an increased risk of cancer in rats, but no increases in cancer to humans who package, or are subjected to high ammounts of it. (source) .

Because there MAY be an increased risk, Cuttwood has stopped putting Titanium Dioxide in their juices. That means the juice is no longer white..
