Lambo - fill up TWO of your dual coils and keep them handy on batteries. YOUR problem is not giving the juice a chance to wick back down to the coil LOL that will fix YOUR problem (I hit my pv's HARD too and actually keep TWO bottom feeders filled and ready to go) I suspect you may not be keeping the carto's filled as well. When the top of your carto is turning white and NOT "slushy" looking anymore, it's time to add more juice. Don't wait until it starts tasteing burnt. If it's burnt when your running 2 pv's, your not topping off the carto's in good time. You dual coils will thank you and you'll thank THEM!

Alan, same advice I just cave Lambo. Carto's ARE the way to go while your learning. A few here might disagree with that, but from my OWN experience, ya carto's. Keep them wet, and don't smoke them empty or until they are burnt. DUMP the tanks, they SUCK big time.

Oh boy, do I know that frustration!!! But no.... don't go back to analogs!
I had the same problem.... Until.... I made my switch to cartomizers for my thinner juices, and CE2 clearomizers for my thicker juices. This has completely fixed my problem, I have kept my batteries, and I am super happy with it - no complains whatsoerver I will never, ever go back to the ego-T tanks. Like the batteries, tanks sucks.
I have no fuss, no mess, no leaks, just vapor and happiness :D
Good Luck!!

If I buy a Reo Grand do I need to buy the batteries, charger and cartomizers seperate? What comes with the setup and what would you recommend for superior vapage?

Edit ---
Nvrmind, I just saw on the site that batteries and chargers are seperate. No biggie tho I can deal with that : )

This thread will tell you everything you need http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...if-reo-your-first-mod-what-you-will-need.html A REO is easier than smoking. No muss, no fuss, no leaks, and you can stop carrying napkins and juice around with you.

In the meantime, I recommend Boge 2.0 ohm cartos or Smoketech 1.7 ohm resurrector cartos for the easiest set-up on an eGo type battery. But, you must give the liquid a chance to soak in, or you will burn any carto.

Trust me buddy you want one of these Sport Full Starter Kit - Sport PCC starter kits by JAC Vapour Ltd I was in the same boat as you and this one I have now in the link is absolutely amazing it's the next gen Ecig also featuring the horizontal bottom coil carto - 9/10 for me .... it's battery powered pack that you charge and you have one charging while on the move while the other one you vape on until the battery dies and when it does just switch over to the one charging in the case and so on! they are truley good, great throat hit and flavour is amazing. If you are ordering from america these branded one's over there are called VOLT cannot remember the full name but have a look buddy.

Kind regards

other than dripping with a LR atty the Boge LR cartomizers seem to work the best (for me).
Crystal Clear sells 15 for $20, free shipping, free drip tip, free syringe.

I'm with rwnielsen on this one. The Boge 510-LR cartomizers are an excellent vape and they hold a sufficient amount of juice. Its all I use now and I haven't had a single craving for an analog since I started using them. If you haven't tried them, give them a go. It just may be the trick for you. It was for me. Good luck!!

I may be new to vaping but I love my volt and it got me off the cigs. It's easy and you don't have to worry about leaking. Just screw on the cartomizer and you're good to go. They even have sealed auto batteries now I've got coming my way to give a try. It's the 808 system and I'm sure the batt doesn't last as long as the ones others have suggested, it just seemed too confusing to go into all that mod stuff right off the bat for me. Smokelessimage has really reasonable starter kits and you can get prefilled cartos to fit at: SI (of course) Elite Vaporworks, Vapor 4 Life, Bloog. I'm sure there's more but that's a start.

Whatever you do, please keep trying! It's so worth it to get off the nasty cigs :)

So far I have tried.

Smoke Tips - Whatever was in the carto's from the vendor gave me consistent cold sores.

Ego-t - No more sores but Inconsistent Vapor / Flavor. Constant Leaking.

So I am back to the weeds.

Any suggestions on a reliable consistent low maintenance ecig ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Alan

I have an ego-t as well. I'm not a tank fan at all due to the flavor being muted and the inconsistent vapor. I bought some Low Resistance cartomizers from CrystalClearVaping.com and love them. The flavor came alive and vapor has been great. They have free shipping at that site for everything as well. :)

The Boge 510 low resistance cartos are good vapes. I've started using the condom fill method to prime my new cartos and it works well. If you don't get good saturation on the first fill, you may scorch the filler and have taste issues.

Here's a good way to fill cartos and be sure that they are saturated. The cap filler method pushes the juice in under slight pressure and it's easy with no mess.

Don't get discouraged. You are just in the "finding the right equipment" phase of your journey. The awesome thing about this is there are a ton of options. I went through four different starter kits before I settled on one. I know it can be expensive but eventually if you stay off of analogs, this will absolutely pay for itself.

Check out the great advice here, especially the dual coil LR cartomizers, they're great. When you find what works for you those analogs won't look as appealing and everything will fall into place.

Sometimes it just takes you having to try different things...

Definitely agree not to get discouraged. Look at vaping as helping get off the analogs, but also look at it as a new hobby. It should be something fun to do. Looking for the perfect equipment for *you* and finding the perfect juice for *you*. It's fun once you start reading all the great info on ECF and looking around online. :)

Don't give up !! I've been from Blu, to 510mega with attys and carts, to dripping, to ce2's to fluxomizers, to box mods (plastic and wood), to finally a mod and tank. It can take a little effort to find your sweet spot but you WILL!

Ecigs are a strange journey but there are some great options out there that will work for you in the end.

Have you tried 6Volts? I almost gave up until I tried HV. I bought a $12 pass through at 5V with 24mg nic on Boge cartomizers and it floored me. I walked around vaping from my laptop (no kidding) until my 6v stuff came in and it changed my life.
I got 4 guys to quit at work. 3 of them were starting to fall off the wagon so I had them try my 6v and now they're all doing the 6v thing. 3.7 works for alot of people but for me, I needed the warm vapor and the throat hit. 6V also brings out the flavor in the juices I like as well.

Good luck

Don't use high VG liquid with these cartos.
You haven't been vaping long. Hang in there.
