Hey guys, long time lurker, first timer poster here. I've had a Reo Grand and a Mini 2.1 way back and sold them to fund other purchases.. Now after a full cycle I'm back to squonking for good. I've tried almost everything out there including most of the unicorn mods and atties, but squonk boxes are what I always reach for nowadays.

And together with a small part of the family.

Glad to be back!

Is that a No Name atty on the Reo?
I didn't even notice .....Good spot on that one

Yes it is! I love this little atty.

Is it the No tank atty? How is yours set up and can you post pix of the set up? I want one of these sooooo bad. I was thinking about using a sleeve of RXW around the post and wrap over it.

The Notank was designed to be used with mesh. The recommended coiling is the mesh wick rolled around the center post and coiled from there. I ran that setup for a while but got tired of squonking every 2-3 puffs.

I also experimented with Ekowool sleeving the center post but was also disappointed by the results. I almost gave up the atty, but not before I decided to drop my favourite microcoil and cotton on it for a lark.

Basically I marked out with a sharpie where the airhole would be and built a vertical micro. Stuffed cotton wick through it and vaped away. Ahhh.. Heaven.

The Notank has a deep well not unlike that of the popular Origens, but in a much smaller package. With a cotton wick running through the well I can go 6-8 puffs before needing to squonk. I run a 0.7ohm coil and the vape to me is awesome, flavour is intense due to the small chamber and puts out a respectable cloud.

I did have one of my Notanks end up with the airhole over the negative screw, which made it almost impossible to place a coil where it was needed. I worked around it with an oring at the base of the top cap and got the airhole where I wanted it.

All in all, it's a feisty little atty and I've seen people setup with mesh and loving it. I run with cotton and love it as well. If you can get one I recommend you do so.

I'll add that I actually also modified the Notank by drilling a small hole at the base of the positive post. One of the issues I had with it was that excess juice wouldn't drain out, as the original design was that the wick was wrapped around the positive where the juice hole was and would not need drainage.

When I ran the atty in my method however it would get flooded if I was over zealous in squonking. A quick 5 mins job (the positive post screws out) with a dremel and that issue was resolved.
