So frustrated. Today I backslid and smoked 4 analogs. Under some stress lately and I have not been vaping as much because I found the flavors I ordered are all very strong and hurt my chest and mouth at 24 mg. I purchased 2 bottles of 12 mg, and the flavors are not winning me over. The waffle juice tastes like burned butter and sugar, and the orange cream while not bad just reminds me of chewing one of those orange baby aspirins. I put in an order to tasty vapor of menthol dbler todilute my 24menthol i have here, and some bananas foster and atomic fireball. Hoping it comes soon so I can enjoy my vaping. I feel like I let myself down.

maybe you should try some cigarette flavored juices. Going straight to fruity flavors might not be as satisfying. Also, maybe you should try vg instead of pg, you might have a sensitivity (assuming those were pg).

Don't rush the process, go at your own pace. 4 analogs really isn't that bad probably compared to what you used to smoke right?

Minor setbacks happen to us all, 4 analogs isn't that much to worry about. Especially if you think about how many analogs you would have smoked before. Long as your smoking less then before then your still well on your way to quitting. Don't look at these as failures, just minor road bumps to the end goal. Happens to the best of us, you'll get there :)

edit: on a side note, I'm sure you'll enjoy the stuff from TV. The bananas foster is a fantastic vape, and I'm not a fan of the candy but I hear nothing but good things about the atomic fireball.

I say this to all so-called backsliders.
Don't stress on it.
Did you smoke 20? No
Did it take you a week to establish your original smoking habit? No
Does it matter in the first few weeks if weaning yourself off ciggies totally isn't instant? No.
We aren't anti-smoking nazis here . We GET it. Its not easy, and it takes time and it never ever works if you put too much expectation on yourself or you try n go too fast (or at someone else's pace)
Chill. Take your time. Get comfy with vaping FIRST(discover the flavor and nic strength for YOU) and THEN worry about if you're still smoking. You probably won't be by then :)

yes, yes, a thousand times yes. don't even worry about 'quitting' until you're happy with vaping. by then, you're probably have quit already, like j said. ;)

Don't beat yourself up! :) I certainly feel for you as I am in the same boat! I was almost at 2 weeks smoke free, had my little "Smoke Free" banner going, I was all proud and then.........grabbed the analogs! :p

I had ordered only 1 menthol tobacco flavor, all the rest were candy, fruit or some chocolate mix. The menthol was terrible but I figured I could make it with what I had ordered. But sitting here in the morning, drinking my coffee and vaping some candy ejuice was not cutting it! So, I quickly ordered some more menthol tobacco from another company and it has not arrived yet. So, the other day, drinking the coffee again and I could no longer take it, I grabbed my cigarettes. Mind you, I am only at 6 or less a day, which is a far cry from 1.5 - 2 packs a day for 34 years I was at. But I understand the frustration and the feelng of letting yourself down but sometimes, either cirumstances, life or a new journey can throw us a loop! So, pat yourself on the back, look forward and know that one day, you will be able to stop smoking all together! Good Luck!

Going thru the exact same thing here. I have 2-3 days 'free' and then back to the 3 or 4analogs a day. Think about how many you haven't smoked. My latest calc is over a 1000 not smoked. I am chasing my flavor also. As time progresses the tastebuds are coming back and then one morning the flavor I thought did 'it' suddenly has a medicine or chem taste to it. I was on the verge of throwing every thing away and going back. But I realized that I feel better and my nasty cough has disappeared. Is vaping really healthier? I can just say that it has certainly made a huge difference for me. Then there is the money savings. The analogs are 8 bucks a pack here. I have been putting 8 bucks a day into an envelope. Just to get a visual on the $. Keeps me motivated. I have resisted the temptation of buying mods and different kits. Believe me I could go crazy getting all this neat vaping stuff being a gadget head. 2 months in and I am still way ahead. So I am just working through the flavor hunt. You are doing great with only 4! And my guess is you feel better too. Keep up the good work!

I'm one month into vaping and I'm still smoking a few analogs a day. I am giving myself the okay not to quit smoking quite yet until I am REALLY comfy with vaping! I'm getting there and, since I recently bought some new hardware to experiment with, I'm getting more and more comfy with the vaping every day!

Give it some time and take some of the pressure off yourself. That pressure to quit is part of the reason many folks never DO quit!

such kind words from all of you. you guys are awesome! I don't mean to have a pity party, I am just a frustrated and don't want to fail in front of my kids. My dad ended up back in the ER and then they admitted him, also been out trying to find a car. so been very stressed. I was doing so good before maybe having half of a cig the whole week, then BAM! I think I will be happier once I can find an everyday fave liquid. I used to smoke menthols but the liquid I have is strong, I did cut with some VG but then I have a flavor loss.
I appreciate all the comments. If I knew how I could highlight everyones comments and respond to each one I would! Ya all are a nice lot. And I look forward continuing to learn from all of you.
