I think you should repost your original review, then do a follow up after you let it age. I think it's fair to post an initial review because folks are going to want to know what to expect when they fist open the box. There have been many less than great reviews for TV liquids, but now a days most people know that it may take a few days/weeks for the flavors to settle out and start tasting good. I just received my first order from Backwoods Brew today. I will probably write a review tonight or tomorrow once I have a chance to run it through a carto and run some through a regular atty.

I agree with blackjack. Do not feel bad for posting your initial opinion. When ordering from someone who makes their juice to order, there will always be changes in the flavor as it ages.

For example, I ordered a bottle of AC from TastyVapor and LOVE it right out of the box. However, I got a bottle of AC from a forum member that had aged for quite a while and I wasn't nearly as much of a fan. To me it seems like aging the AC takes some of the bite out of it and brings more of the sweetness out.

I didn't get a chance to try the Backwood Brew juice too early, as mine arrived while I was on a work trip. But, Don did say that some age would bring out the flavor when I ordered.

I think letting it sit will get you where you want to be, OP.

If you're curious, check out my video reviews of the Cherry Tobacco and Honey Flue. Pretty much vaped them exclusively the past week!!

I will re-post my review after letting my juices age for a week. Don is a great guy and I don't want to critique a product that may actually be really good. This is a tough one because the juices got caught up in USPS for 5 days in 110 degree heat which could have affected the flavors.

Don has already offered to make things right but I will not take him up on it as it's not his fault that USPS can't always get things right. The offer is appreciated though. :D The juices are made fresh so I am sure they will get better with a little more time.

Well, that would explain it! :D That's why I deleted my original review...I knew something had to be wrong and didn't want to judge Don's product if it was due to heat or some other reason. Everyone loves his juices so I knew something was amiss! It's also cool that Don posted the truth about what happened and is wiling to fix it...I don't think you would see that with many other vendors out there!

Edwv, thank you. It seems way too frequent that someone relatively new comes on a thread like BWB, VB, TV, Vs or another good vendor... has a bad experience and slams them without even thinking. There are good reasons why a majority of people like a particular vendor - and It demonstrates maturity and class to handle your disappointment the way that you did.

Everyone on ECF new or veteran is entitled to their opinion... but I appreciate it when someone like you tempers your initial experience with the thought that it might be an anomaly or bad luck etc...

You rock!

I've been meaning to try his product. Does he make a good tobacco flavor? I've had a few real good vendors in which usually the juice is great, have a bad batch. I think the most important thing is, that when they do have a bad batch, they make it right. It sounds like Don is one of those type sellers. This makes me want to try his products even more. Will do that very soon. Any help on a tobacco flavor would be great.
Thanks,
Dave

Yes, the tobacco flavors are great at Backwoods Brew. Highly recommend them. Don is Backwoods Brew. He provides excellent service, fast communication, speedy delivery, and most importantly, a superb (in my opinion) product.

I love his 555. Applewood Tobacco gets rave reviews and I have a bottle headed to my house right now. Malty is smooth and makes a perfect all day vape. Have a bottle of Virginia headed my way right now and will tell you about it shortly after it arrives. Will post a review in review forum on it.

Go ahead. Order from Don at Backwoods Brew. If you do not like your order, PM me and I will buy it from you. You have nothing to lose. I'm not kidding. Look at my signature. :)

Thanks Paula,
You have a face that looks like it can be trusted! LOL. I will give them a try. Which blend do you think taste the strongest. I vape 36mg Cash Tab and TW's State Express for baccy flavors. I do vape sweet flavors for a change of pace, but for cravings, a strong tobacco is a must.
Thanks,
Dave

You know the best person to ask is Don at Backwoods Brew. He makes every order as they come in and he makes it (as best as he can) to your specification. email him here: Dkrom681234@yahoo.com

I received a bottle of very bad juice with my equipment order. It is a miracle I didn't give up vaping. It was that bad. I was clueless as to where to begin to find 'good juice'. Read good things about Backwoods Brew here on the forum. I wrote to Don, telling him about my cigarettes, my equipment, etc. He worked with me to figure out the nicotine strength that should meet my needs and the flavors that would be closest to what I was used to in my cigarettes.

Yes, it took a couple back & forth communications. ALL of which took place within a matter of an hour! But he figured it out. He listened to me. AND...he was right.

That is all I can tell you. When I want an answer I go to the source. That is what I recommend you do too. Don is the most down to earth and nicest fellow you will have the pleasure of doing business with.

I am not related to Don. I have never met him. I have a business relationship with him. I am 100% confident in every word I have said about Backwoods Brew, their products and their service. And believe me when I tell you I am old enough to know what I am talking about

Hope this helps. Contact Don.
