Hate to hear that about your dad, V2M. Had to go
through the same thing with my mom and dad (they died almost a year apart two and three years ago, respectively). Spent a lot of time down on the street level smoking analogs while contemplating having to "pull the plug" (hate that term) on 'em both times. Makes it a long, long walk back up. I feel for ya', man.
Tough road to tread. Never seems to be over in your head, but it does get easier to deal with in time. Keep strong, mate.

Pouring rain outside, big ethics paper to do today so I'm off to discuss a Kantian view in opposition to Occupy Wall Street.
