lets say if you set the voltage to 5.0 volts, the lavatube will show its 5.0 volts untill the battery dies, but if you actually check the voltage on a meter it slowly drops as the battery gets lower. also it does not keep the 5.0 volts when you put the device under load, usually thats just a 0.1 through 0.3 volt diference from what you set but it does differ from what the device tells you the voltage is.
The Provari is considered the "holy grail" of Variable Voltage PV's, bassically its one of the few truly top of the line pv's out there.

Starter kit = USD271.40 (with extension cap + USPS shipping) = $341.40
This does not include the fact that it has quite a high chance of not arriving at your doorstep at all.
Now, next door, they do it like this:
Starter kit = MYR878 (with extension cap + pos laju shipping to somewhere near next door) = $360.67
And I do not think the price is double...
Just my 2 cents....

Yeah I realized that too. I just swap out my batt when it hits 3.7V. Hopefully the manufactures solves this in the next upgrades

My bad. thanks for pointing out the WHOLE package. missed out on that. All in all, whoever willing to get it. still have to bear risk. May be a bit lesser since its nearer.
I think the risk is the same as long as it from outside coming into Singapore.
