Bad draw on 3XAA5VBOXMOD 3xAA 5 Volt Boxmod

I bought this boxmod and it works great on some 808 carts,but on most I get real bad draw?
The box was setup for a 510 cart ,so I bought an adpt to go to 808 carts.
I thought it was my carts but I put them on a passthrough or a 808 battery and the draw is fine.
I put it back on the box and the draw is for chit ?
What can I do??

The 808 end of the adapter is adjustable.. Try unscrewing the center contact a bit and see if it helps..

That did it.. I did'nt know they were adjustable..
