hello! I started vaping Feb 1st. I am using a cool Fire iv with a iSub tank.

Over the last couple two weeks I noticed my vapors were very weak. Now I can't taste any flavor at all when I vape. I normally swap between a fruit loop, lucky charm, pound cake, coffee loop and have tried changing to something different and still can't taste it. I've tried changing my coils, changing wattages and how much air. I read about vapors tongue, tried all those remedies but I'm not sure that's what it is because if I dip it I can taste it, and if I put a tiny bit of the liquid itself on my tongue I can taste it.

Do tanks cause flavor loss? I can taste a clearomizer but not the sub ohm. I have noticed when I put the coil in, it doesn't seat down all the way and affording To my local shop lady that's ok.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what you are saying here.
Coil Must Seat to seal. As long as the Seal is making contact with the base, the Coil is seated.

Direct to tongue Drop is likely hundreds of times stronger - Direct application.
(Smell Squash - Taste Squash);)

What you want to look for is proper operation.
Is the Tank wicking properly? No dry hits, no flooding!
Is the power set properly? High enough for a good full vaporization, but not burning liquid! Start low and work up.

Examine your Liquid collection.
Have there been any changes? Brand, Blend, Flavor!

Everything has to work together. Any changes could be where things went wrong.
If everything is the same and working properly, there is a good chance your senses are temporarily down.

There is the possibility that if you smoked for a long time, it will take time for vapor's tongue to disappear as new taste buds regrow. Surprisingly also, smell plays a heavy role in what we taste, the flu and allergy season is upon us, so if you are plugged up due to allergies or such, flavor decreases as well. If you are vaping on higher VG liquids, try drinking teas mixed in with your water intake, maybe help break down the VG coating on your taste buds, cinnamon or strong mint gum can help as well.

I have issues with this tank leaking out of the air hole after a few days, then I change the coil and its ok for a few days. It was only a few days after I made the change to sub ohm from the clearomizer that the change really started. No change in the liquids until I changed to a different one to see if I was able to taste anything. I drink a TON of water and chew gum a lot.

Ok thanks for you answers guess I'll wait it out and see if my taste comes back >.>

I've never used an Isub tank so my experience is general.
IME, all factory coil heads leak. so juice in the air hole is "normal". But, too much leakage will result in flooding, weak vapor production, and off tasting vapor. Blow a few hard puffs into the tank to force any excess (flooding) juice out the air hole(s).
If the tank is not assembled correctly or has a damaged 'O' ring that too will cause a laundry list of problems.
Good Luck

Are you getting no flavor snd plenty of vapor or almost no vapor or flavor.

If there is plenty og vapor you may have vapers tounge and you need a new spicy flsvor.

If there is almost no vapor your mod may be going out.

Try Aspire Cleito tanks, much, much better
Best to learn on what one has and solve problems before moving on and spending more money while not knowing.
Ops tank is in a acceptable upgrade range and should be capable of satisfying.

Op, things that change Flavor:
Wick material - not a concern here
Coil temperature - Warmer increases Flavor - Cooler decreases flavor(with limits)
Air Flow - Tighter air flow will pull more liquid to Vaporize. Open air flow reduces liquid draw.

I often read Flavor reviews at Vendor sites.
While many will tout Great flavors, some will always claim the flavor is off, missing the mark, to light(needs more) or not right at all.
This is mostly the subjective part - we all perceive things differently.

Sinus Flooding and light nose bleed - Slow down, way down.
Get your sinus cleared up and let them heal.(maybe too much vg)

What, if any, is your Smoking history?
This may be a partial key to your issues. Long term smokers must purge a lot of toxic build up and it effects the body in several ways.
Anxiety, Muscle cramping, stomach ache, Head ache, Taste, etc. (any/all)
Some never get their taste back completely and a few, not at all.

Since you cannot taste your liquid.............Have you noticed food taste lighter?
