Went to drop off my Nickel GGTS today and it kinda hit me that all the people that have a hard time getting scratches out have a cheap option. Go find a shop that does chrome plating and they should be able to get the scratches out cheaply. Cost me 3.00 to have my brass GGTS with stealth cap polished today.

I hope you get it looking new again :) That was my one and only daily vape for like 2 years and all in all I think it held up pretty good till the nickel plating started coming off then I was scared to even polish it. And mostly using the UFS meant it was always standing wherever I went. I'm assuming the scratches were mostly on the bottom. Any luck with the re plating yet.

Not yet they are running about 4 weeks behind on orders but should have it done by August. I will send pictures to you when I am done with it. I am taking it back to brand new no scratches condition.

As far as a daily vape for 2 years all I have to say is I'm very impressed the condition is very good for that time span with daily use.

GG's last forever. I had a spring collapse on me on a trip and I repaired it by replacing it with a spring from a cheap ballpoint pen!
Go try and fix a mod with an electronic switch like that. No wires, no solder. If the contacts get dirty on the road, i polish them with the striking surface from a book of matches and it continues to hit like a baseball bat in a Deniro movie!
Solid Stainless never tarnishes either. Just a quick pass under a cloth wheel and it looks like the day i took it out of the box.
