Basen BS186j

[PA Dave]

I came across these while doing some searching for a 30amp 18650 battery. They are from Basen and are listed as 'New' with a 30amp continuous discharge current and a 40amp pulse current. I applied some googlefu and was unable to come up with any information about them. They also have a BS186k which is listed with the same discharge tolerances but is a 2600mah battery.
Any information would be appreciated.

Took a look at CandlePowerForums and the Basen brand is respected. They rate them lower than Sony or Samsung, but still viable substitutions, and didn't have the specific model, BS186j you were looking at.

The discharge curves are steeper than other high batteries, so the vape time would be lessened, and using them at the maximum continuous discharge rating would only make this worse.
