Batt Cleaning Q

Just a quick question. One of the manual batteries I got in my eGo kit has the sealed hole in it (with glue right?) My question is will I disolve the glue if I try to clean with with isopropyl alcohol? Thanks!

I have never seen anything like this just use water on a Qtip to clean it to be safe.
