I have two batteries for my DSE801, and I swear to you that taste varies between them.

This would mean that one is more powerful than the other? Maybe one connects better?

Also, one battery will die rather quickly, the other lasts much longer.

For added strangeness, my USB passthrough also tastes different than the batteries, and doesn't seem to be as strong, doesn't produce as much vapor as my "good" battery.

Consistency would make me happy at this point.

Anyone else having this happen?

Hi V, Power does make a difference. You may have one battery that holds more amps and powers the atomizer better. If your passthrough is to your computer that may be low amps. E-cigs need 200ma to work and up to 1000ma (1amp) for best performance. Your batteries are rated low (250ma or so) and most computers put out only 100-200ma. You need a mains usb charger rated at 1 amp or 1000ma for best performance. Even the best computer usb ports can only support 500ma max. The more ports you use, it splits power between them, lowering output.

Hope this helps.
