Batteries for Itaste 134 Mini Question???

My manual for the Itaste 134 Mini says to use unprotected batteries. This is the 1st version mod.
Is that what I want?
are they Button top or Flat?
Can I use Protected batteries???

You want 'IMR' chemistry batteries... button or flat doesn't matter. Get them from a reputable source... so you don't end up with forgeries.
