I'm running dual coils at 0.9 ohms on my sigiele 19 telescope I'm using a drip atomizer. batteries and switch get hot if I vape a lot. 1/8 in dual air holes I have drilled and I'm pretty sure I am over amping my batteries. I'm looking for suggestions on batteries and also how to figure out what a batteries is rated to without having the specs on it.

I was using the aw imr 18650 batteries but on a .5ohm dual coil I was pulling more than the rated 10 amps when fully charged so I picked up the Sony 30a batteries from r-Lsales on eBay for $18. I could immediately tell a difference and my KTS stays cooler now too. On a .8 ohm coil I'm sure the aw's will suffice, but if you plan on going lower than that it might push them too far IMO. I wasn't able to find the burst rating on the aw batteries so it may be perfectly safe, but since I don't have confirmation of that I went with the Sony to err on the side of caution.

From what I've dug up the AW IMR 18650 batteries all have a 10 amp limit. The Panasonic CGR18650CH have a listed 10 amp limit but seem to be sold out everywhere I look.

Edit: It seems the AW IMR may have different amp limits for the 2000mAh and the 1600mAh. Not positive, there is a lot of conflicting data around and I don't have the technical knowledge to truly sift through it all or test it on my own. Everywhere I look the CGR18650CH is listed at 10 amps though.
