Depends which ones you pop in It still uses CR2s for the 6 volts which are unprotected but some alternative protected batteries may be found and fit The 3.7 volts ones it is easy enough to find protected batteries

Tribal didnt know about a little change I made so his answer was right. But Trans will take 2 cr123A protected.

The first 10 Trans will not have this ability, because I had already made them for the 18650 option, but after the battery explosion I make them with cr123A protected.

Even at 6 volts? Green Ultrafires don't count, they are not protected! On the can is only the suggested maximum and minimum voltages!

I vaped heavily my 3.7 volt GG grant all day and the battery was at 3.8 volts at 5pm not bad!! My 6 volts are lasting much longer with my new charger, 2 hours of heavy vape and it had only dropped about .10 of a volt!!!

Tribal, I feel that with the new cr123A 900 mah protected batteries we will vape at 6 volts for 20% more time!
