I find it interesting that there seems to be almost no relationship between CDR and charge rates. I would have thought that a cell designed for higher discharge currents would also be happy accepting charge at a higher rate than one where the design trade-off is toward the capacity side.

Yea, some very interesting numbers.
They may tell us more about each manufacturer's acceptable cell damage thresholds than anything about the cells themselves.

It depends on how much current you are pulling from the batteries but any good 20A battery will let you go pretty high with the wattage. Check my blog for the link to my recommended batteries table. You can use any of the 20A-30A ones there.
