The best I can do for now, is get a Q-tip a LITTLE wet, and twirl it along the grove between the battery post and the threads, until it gets in there a bit.
It's working, but I'm sure more experienced bloogers might have a better idea?
Use a piece of dry kitchen roll and twist it in the battery thread it should come out black, and clean your atty/carto threads as well, this will give you much better contact for the atty/carto and battery
Ok, I feel like an idiot , but google isn't telling me anything on this subject, except what they can be used for.... but what exactly IS an "dry kitchen roll"?
I use a little rubbing alcohol on a tissue or paper towel to clean the battery threads; but only a slightly moistened tissue so I don't get any of the fluid into the battery. One other thing I do is use a sewing needle to make sure the two little holes on the sides of the battery threads are clear.
OK one of my batteries has just become "sluggish". I can no longer happily vape lazily I have to really work on the draw to get it to activate and produce. Did the alcohol cleaning thing but still the same. My other batteries behave properly on use with the same cartos. Also tried manipulating the battery post. Still happy with the product but we have to come up with solutions for these little setbacks. Any ideas out there?
Nedley, is this occurring with multiple cartos? I sometimes experience this when a carto is clogged or I over filled it. Not saying that is the cause. Just asking so we can eliminate causes.
Gardner I tried the same cartos(all four) on the good batteries and on the battery that is acting up. I have to draw really hard on the sluggish one and the others perform easily. Hope this clarifies.
If you look at the two little holes on the battery just below the threads, are they perfectly clear and open? Works best if you use a light to see through them. When I experience what you are talking about inevitably I see something blocking or partially blocking one or both of the holes.
